      I know right where was the thickening dirty south folks used in that mixture, no creamy ness from the flour. Second worst video I gave ever seen on frying 🌽.🙄🤔

    I am a dad that don't cook alot so when I do it must be better than just filling. I will be making this again, hit with kids and wife! I will probably be a little more dad about it next time and experiment with some additional ingredients....hehehe. I like this recipe alot. 👌

      Your corn will not expire soon. Vegetables are canned under pressure and are sterilized. Unless the can is compromised the corn will last long after its expiration date.

    Other than beans, this is probably the only canned veggie that tastes pretty good. I'm guessing you could do something similar with frozen corn and it wouldn't have as much sugar. I'm just guessing. Cheers!

      @vcp93 - I’m a Le Seuer peas fan, too. They’re pretty good right out of the can. They’re good added to salads.

    Corn is wonderful, to me, so that I don't add anything to it except butter. I just drain the liquid and zap it in the microwave long enough to get it hot, add a little butter to it and eat it. I am crazy about corn! I can eat it off the cob without cooking it at all! This does look good, though. Blessings!

    I do a similar method. But I just drain all the liquid, add pepper with no salt. Let it fry for while and use the pan to Flip it. Then I add Fiesta Blend cheese and flip it so the cheese becomes well incorporated. That is it.
    Ready to Serve. So easy and quick.

    OMG, I swear that our cafeteria cooks at my elementary school in the 1970s, made this type of corn and I never knew how they made it. I'm 57 now and will try it but without thanking Miss, McGruder and Miss, Washington..., Thank You 👏 !!!

    My grandma used to cook corn like this, sometimes used a bit of bacon grease instead of butter. I love how she cooked it til it was caramelized just right. Yum!

    I have done canned corn this way for many years. I do add one more ingredient though. I add about half a teaspoon of sugar. Gives the corn that perfect “sweet corn” taste! Try it, you’ll like it.

    Leave out the sugar, as suggested below. I changed it. Leave as is (or add some good cheddar if u like, but I prefer it as is...simple and tasty.

    The absolute BEST canned corn comes from Trader Joe's!!!! BAR NONE! A tad pricey at $.96/can, but OMG it's delicious!!
