My suggestion to an upcoming investor is to learn to do your own research and don’t just go buying stocks without proper considerations. Most of what is pumped out by the media is what most UA-cam financial entertainers churn out to you as fear uncertainty and doubt.

$152k is not very much. In my 20’s I would work 65 hours per week. I saved and invested as much as I could afford to. I drove a stripped down Toyota pickup truck without ac or radio. By age 30, I had saved about $320,000 to use as a down payment on a house. I continued to work hard for the next 20 years. Once I hit age 50, I switched to working 3 days a week from home. I get 8 weeks of vacation and 10 holidays per year. I plan to retire at age 60.

Generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. It's so easy living in a country where you can work multiple jobs at a time even part time/full time. In my country I work one week first shift, another third shift and third week second shift. It's from a different town so I spend like 11 hours on my job. And I barely make 500$ if that because that's the standard wage. I can't switch since I've racked up debt with trying to be ambitious and make it as soon as I turned 18 because I wanted fast and easy money. I spend 20$ a week and 20$ for my gym membership. Don't go out, don't chase girls, don't watch porn, don't watch video games, all of that stuff. I only watch fitness youtube videos and podcasts mostly from Tom Bilyeu where you hear a lot from successful people but none of those strategies work out here. The other 300-400$ I get go towards my debt so I can restart life as soon as possible so I can actually save something.

Grind early in life so you can cost and relax starting in your 30 and beyond. Young people need to realize that your 30 and 40 will come quickly. It's harder when you get older to catch up financially. The idea of "living today because you can die tomorrow" is flawed because dieing tomorrow is very unlikely. Work hard now and play later.

@@sbrooks904 but instead of working dead end jobs during those 2 years you could work on an online business, spending the same time in it but with a greater reward in the future

You won't take anything of this 3 jobs into your grave. Invest time into your afterlife too. 1 Job should be enough. Pray to Allah.

I was working three jobs while going to college. Had my own business going, and then one of the partners decided to chase women. This is how I learned to NEVER do partnerships. Do an LLC or an S corp for your business. I spent the next ten years paying that money back as I had a job that prevented me from filing chapter 7 or chapter 13.
