The new canon doesn't really hinder him that much. It just limits his agility but his speed is pretty much the same. Just look at his fight with Ahsoka, his slaughter scene in Rogue One, or his fight with Commander Karbin in the Vader Down comic.

As much as I enjoy the hallway scene in Rogue One, I always preferred Vader as a terror-invoking figure who only had to tower over his enemies and breath. Trilla's whimper at 3:55 says it all: that's the sound of cold, mortal dread.

I loved that scene and music kick in, these words had the same power and meaning as those of Darth Maul nad that realization just got me even more sad. Damn.
The music they used for Vader's approach was _genius._ The game's sparse use of Williams' music had already made their appearances more impactful by this point, but this... it would've been so easy and so lazy to just hammer out a rendition of the Imperial March. Instead, we get a piece of music associated with Vader's murder of children and his slaughtering of terrified, powerless enemies. Combine that with those thundering footsteps and Elizabeth Grullon's superb acting - a frighteningly perfect moment.

David Harris just beat her today honestly she’s not too too hard ya just have to keep at it and you’ll striker her down i recommend having the skill that makes your lightsaber damage go up if you don’t already have it

You make this boss fight look easy. I've been stuck on it for some time now, seems like even when I block and dodge, sometimes it's just a coin toss as to whether or not it works. Absolutely godly.
The final bossfight against Trilla was challenging and epic on Jedi Master difficulty when i played the game a second time . You had to master your lightsaber skills and parrying against Trilla and learn her moves . It felt satisfying to beat Trilla and i was surprised by Vaders appearance and it was intense ! I loved when they played Anakins Dark Deeds music score at the scene when Vader struck down Trilla and when she said her last words : Avenge Us !

As a Soulsborne + Sekiro player I loved this game, but I kept fucking up at times when I really shouldn't because I kept forgetting about Force Push and Pull mid combat. On a 2nd playthough need to try and ingrain that more into myself. A NG+ mode for this game wouldn't go amiss either.
I must admit that I had to lower the difficulty to Knight from Master because I couldn't beat her at all, but force slow also works wonders to buy some time and heal up
The part where the scout droid comes is definitely the hardest. For some reason for you it wasn't but when I was in that fight the timing of their attacks would always be such that I could never block both of them. There's also the shock wave but that's hard to counter only close range, but the AI does often box you in against a wall.
While waiting for Jedi: Survivor, decided to replay Fallen Order on the Grandmaster. A moment ago finished Trilla on the third try. Collect all 10 stims, collect all force powers, collect all Life & Force Essences, and reverse engineer the enemies a bit in your mind. How do I prevent damage to myself and cause as much as possible effectively to the enemy. When you’ve got 10 stims that also refill your Force, slow her down and do the double saber force attacks as much as possible, she’ll take some serious damage pretty quickly. Avoid being completely reckless and remember to protect yourself, and those 10 stims (which also refill the force) will help you do it. Good luck & remember to enjoy. Give some thought to how the fights look like to a developer. In Yoda’s voice: ”Concentrate!”
@@Squide250 be aggressive when she glows red after a successful dodge. Be patient otherwise and block on her normal attacks and learn the pattern for timing. When she brings out the Droid don't pay attention to her saber throw, focus more on returning the droid blaster bolt back at it, when he malfunctions force push it and it'll explode on trilla. Utilize ur saber throw, use force freeze right b4 u pop a stim. She gets super aggressive when u pop a stim so freezing her will give u time. Lastly when she does the grown pound double jump to avoid it, learn that animation. Dodge the dashing force drain she does that drop u to ur knees. It takes both health and force 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
This game is made against the player. She has 3 unblockabl attacks one after the other? Wtf? If i use force is like a strike a wall with my hand, nothing happens. That is no news tho, i can barely move the black soldiers with the force. This game is not offering the same rules for the player and for the AI.

It took me like 2 hours to defeat the secound sister at the end and if I turn my difficulty it doesn't feel satisfying so I kept my difficulty the same
In the end, I discovered that I could reduce alot of health with Slow and Strong hit (Triangle in the PS4) until I depleted my force meter. Then If was low on heatlh I would use a stim pack which would refill the force meter and repeat the process. This way I would take a lot of health from her with safe hits.
Yeah I had a feeling Vader would show up at some point in the game, and I think I had it spoiled years ago that he kills Trilla, but the game pulled me in so much that I forgot spoilers and was just immersed. I just wanted to see if I was missing something in this fight. I didn't expect a video title to spoil when all I wanted was a tip video.
How are these people beating her on Jedi grandmaster I was on Jedi master but had to switch to Jedi knight because she would always do that jump attack on me when I was close to her
Yeah that move almost ruined the fight for me. But make sure you use the single lightsaber and utilize the split saber move. I tried it many times using the dual lightsaber since that worked for me fighting Malicos, but then it was easier using the single lightsaber.
I played this game for 50 hours on Grand Master, 8 of which was spent in this specific fight. Always monitor stamina, distance, and double sabers are your friends. Also try to look out for the area of damage of her attacks. The video poster is really good cause he almost always dodged to the just right distance to strike right after Trilla's special attacks. Once you get that you'll start seeing her special attacks as opportunities and don't feel threatened anymore.
They both should have died honestly, I think Trilla should have killed Cere during the Interrogation Room scene(where you unlock the door for Cere) and have it to where Cere gives Trilla a teaching final(message changes Trillas Mind) that way after this fight Cal helps Trilla finally convert back to good...Only for Vader to come asking for the Holocron, and Trilla giving the Cron to Cal pulling a Loki and trying to kill Vader, only for that to end badly and having Cal to run his ass off against this beast.

Well i loved the game all the way through but im not retrying this fight again. that ground punch thing she does just caused an ashtray to get thrown out the window which hit my neighbours car. its the very last moment of the game so ill just watch the finale here and consider it completed i guess 🤷♂️.

It's not that hard...like the only difference on this difficulty compared to Jedi master, is that enemies are slightly more aggressive, and you take double damage, but utilizing force abilities, makes the game really easy, but even tho Cal is a Jedi, he is not a master at it, and is still at a Padawan level, so his force abilities are still non existent
@@godofsin4604 This is an old thread, but yeah, lots of people are saying how hard this fight is, but it really isn't. Nearly all of Trilla's moves are sweepy and telegraphing, especially the unblockables. Anyone who's used to playing fighting games can get through this with little difficulty. Hell, in this fight, you don't even have to resort to the perfect dodge skill. Parrying and dodging in this game is much easier than say in a game like Tekken.

You haven't played the game yourself, have you? Sure, you don't dismember every stormtrooper you come across, but there's plenty of enemies you do dismember. Slicing spiders in half, cutting limbs of hulking monsters, slicing off the Ninth Sister's hand, ect. They simply had to do away with dismember every humanoid character due to rating issues.

Takes a whole lot of practice and re-runs. I had to die at least 70 to 90 times, no joke.

How are these people beating her on Jedi grandmaster I was on Jedi master but had to switch to Jedi knight because she would always do that jump attack on me when I was close to her
Tbh it wasn't that hard on jedi master, only took me about 3 or 4 tries
Yeah that move almost ruined the fight for me. But make sure you use the single lightsaber and utilize the split saber move. I tried it many times using the dual lightsaber since that worked for me fighting Malicos, but then it was easier using the single lightsaber.

I played this game for 50 hours on Grand Master, 8 of which was spent in this specific fight. Always monitor stamina, distance, and double sabers are your friends. Also try to look out for the area of damage of her attacks. The video poster is really good cause he almost always dodged to the just right distance to strike right after Trilla's special attacks. Once you get that you'll start seeing her special attacks as opportunities and don't feel threatened anymore.
I couldn't even beat her on Jedi Master without cheesing her :(

They both should have died honestly, I think Trilla should have killed Cere during the Interrogation Room scene(where you unlock the door for Cere) and have it to where Cere gives Trilla a teaching final(message changes Trillas Mind) that way after this fight Cal helps Trilla finally convert back to good...Only for Vader to come asking for the Holocron, and Trilla giving the Cron to Cal pulling a Loki and trying to kill Vader, only for that to end badly and having Cal to run his ass off against this beast.
Both of them should have died, so Vader could look even more awesome than he already was.

Well i loved the game all the way through but im not retrying this fight again. that ground punch thing she does just caused an ashtray to get thrown out the window which hit my neighbours car. its the very last moment of the game so ill just watch the finale here and consider it completed i guess 🤷♂️.

It's not that hard...like the only difference on this difficulty compared to Jedi master, is that enemies are slightly more aggressive, and you take double damage, but utilizing force abilities, makes the game really easy, but even tho Cal is a Jedi, he is not a master at it, and is still at a Padawan level, so his force abilities are still non existent
But anyways, parry, parry, parry, and you shouldn't have any trouble at all on grandmaster
God Of Sin assuming you time the parries perfectly and you know when not to dodge like when she does that earthquake move that is fast af

@@godofsin4604 This is an old thread, but yeah, lots of people are saying how hard this fight is, but it really isn't. Nearly all of Trilla's moves are sweepy and telegraphing, especially the unblockables. Anyone who's used to playing fighting games can get through this with little difficulty. Hell, in this fight, you don't even have to resort to the perfect dodge skill. Parrying and dodging in this game is much easier than say in a game like Tekken.

You haven't played the game yourself, have you?
Sure, you don't dismember every stormtrooper you come across, but there's plenty of enemies you do dismember. Slicing spiders in half, cutting limbs of hulking monsters, slicing off the Ninth Sister's hand, ect. They simply had to do away with dismember every humanoid character due to rating issues.
