These dramas are so much alike, you can almost supply the missing translation yourself. But yeah, I agree that after the way he treated her because of his girlfriend is inexcusable and I would never take him back.
The FL is stupid enough to not only go back to the ML, but accepts a ring that has already been on the SFL's finger. I must be petty, 'cause I be damned! That B touched the ring; throw it away!! (okay, okay, I am too cheap to throw a diamond ring, EXCHANGE IT, EXCHANGE IT) The ML is more stupid than abusive. He is insecure to the point of jealous insanity. The SFL is plenty evil on her own. Green tea people don't seem to be able to figure out why someone doesn't love them. After all, they loved enough to kill, and still no? The actors are very good and act this drama out with great results. Any quality missing is due to script issues and LOUSY editing. Editors - if ya skip too much, no one can follow.... DAMN, what a concept. Editors need to make sure the drama still makes SENSE. Some versions are simply unwatchable due to horrible editing from skipping or repeating. The repeats remind me of a college professor who taught a class I couldn't manage to sit through. The way he talked was... "I mean he talked like.... the way he talked was similar..... similar to watching....yes similar to,... to watching repeats." My college self tried; I swear. I could NOT sit through this class any more than I can sit through replay dramas.
The FL character would have chosen to leave at anytime. The moment a guy brings another woman into your martial home, it's a wrap, just leave coz he crossed the boundaries and brought someone home. But no, she has to cling on. There's something called recording for evidence. How could she run to tell on the other woman. Does she think he will believe her? What an idiotic move🙄

Oh, he's sorry he didn't handle the relationship well...OMG woman,wake up! He threw you under the bus a few times and you still don't get the message? Take the bone marrow and throw away the rest. Marry the other guy and live a happy life.Oh and if I missed it when the translation stopped, he never even explained why he chose not to save her...I think he said sorry or something equally lame...like oops.
It's been a long time, and I couldn't find it even if I tried, but I have seen this drama before. This is basically the last half of the drama. It's not the entire thing. Although I don't remember exact dialogue, I think the ML chose to save his ex because she once donated her kidney to him to save his life. He feels responsible for her life and what he thinks is her poor health so in that moment he didn't feel he could abandon her. I imagine he convinced himself that the kidnappers just want money so they will wait because if they harm the FL they get nothing. It doesn't excuse what he did & I wouldn't ever forgive him, but I think that was the explanation that was not translated well.
Don't forget he used to beat her with a belt. I have never watched somthing more gross! I don't know why UA-cam doesn't take down these videos. I think these videos instigate people to do wrong and treat women like trash !

To add insult to injury- the last 10-15 mins of this toxic little drama is missing the english subs. The ML is your typical scumbag ML; abusive, controlling, unfaithful (not physically but when a man prefers & favors another woman over their wife, they cross the line into unfaithfulness), thick as a brick, prone to excessive violence and seemingly unaware that he has any faults at all. The FL is again, your typical doormat, willing to put up with all the cr** the ML & his evil side chick dish out. It's only when he literally chooses to rush the 'ooh I've pretended to faint' evil side chick to the hospital instead of saving the life of his wife, that she's grows a tiny backbone and leaves him for years. Only then does he realise what he's done. There's your usual array of faithful but friend zoned 2ML and other supporting cast. Acting is good. The ML is a good actor and makes you loathe this character and wish he'd get hit by a bus or something. The 2FL is also suitably sly, cunning, slu++y and nasty and the FL actress is good but doesn't really stand out against those two more dominant characters. The storyline is not bad, but uses the usual weak tropes that we see in these low budget dramas. So it's a 'meh' watch if you have an hour to kill.
How could you start doing sub titles and then suddenly stop..glad I could basically figure it out....that action to me made this film low quality to me and it actually started out good

A série é ótima excelente amei.A história é interessante empolgante divertida romântica intrigante com tudo que uma boa história deve ter tramas conspiração violência moderada. O elenco é fantástico lindos demais talentosos fofos profissionais adoráveis com atuação maravilhosa. O casal protagonista é fantástico lindos demais talentosos fofos profissionais adoráveis com atuação perfeita maravilhosa demais são divertidos românticos me encantaram e conquistaram com a atuação. É a 4a ou 5a vez que assisto essa série é como a 1a vez eu tenho as mesmas emoções. Parabéns ao escritor e a produção.

I've watched so many of these stories I can pretty much guess what is being said at the end without subtitles ( translation) into English
The caption remain in Chinese even if the English caption is chosen.
