I like that the editing implies that this first puzzle was SO difficult that Dish needed to take multiple breaks to play other games.
I loved the potion event just because they bring back the bottle land soundtrack, can't to see more dish content so just dish screaming or being read by chat 😂

man, i thought the first potion fully filled was impossible but it was my layout, my little brother got the blocked square in the center of the board and was able to fill up the whole cauldron
Here's a simpler way to show that covering all the squares of the puzzle is impossible:
Color the squares of the 5-by-5 board like a chessboard, with alternating black/white squares. Since 5 is odd, the corners will all have the same color. WLOG let them be white. By this construction, the blocked out square is black. Then the number of black squares to be covered is 11, while the number of white squares is 13.
Each of the given pieces covers an equal number of black and white squares (1 and 1 for the mushroom, and 2 and 2 for the other two). Thus placing pieces to cover the squares will result in at least 2 white squares remaining: only an equal number of white squares and black squares can be removed with each move, so at most 11 black and 11 white squares can be removed. Thus it's impossible to cover all the squares, and the solutions where you had 2 squares remaining (2 white squares in our construction) was indeed optimal.
Mathematician spotted
i covered all of the squares exactly once, can't remember which level, and because of that i convinced myself that every level could be entirely covered and that i just wasn't trying hard enough. lost a majority of my sanity that way when that turned out not to be the case.
Dunno if miss dish already finished it, but in the potion event, you have to level up a bit before you can overlap ingredients. And as your ingredients level up, theres two shape options!
I love the potion event SO SO MUCH! its like tetris and genshin together! The music is also very enjoyable cuz its from the summer event. The sruff u need to do to get primos is a bit complicated tho for me atleast😅

I absolutely loved this potion event. I like that it was a chill fun puzzle event that wasn’t super lore heavy, but still challenging :)

The potion event was SO fun for me because it has similar mechanics to Potion Permit!
Not me literally abandoning Genshin for 2 weeks, then coming back and binging the hell out of the potion event, my business went crazy and i completed the event in less than 24 hours counting gameplay

2:30 It is not solvable. If you color the area like checkerboard, the number of white and black squares will differ by 2 while each piece covers the same number of black and white squares.
Watching you try hard the first puzzle in the potion event made me bang my head against a wall
ok but the first puzzle is infact mathematically impossible to solve, if you were to put a chess-board like grid over the space that you had (the 5x5 with the one blocked out) there would be 11 of one colour and 13 of the other but if you look at the puzzle pieces available, no matter how you place them, they will always cover the same amount of each coloured grid if that makes sense so there will always be two spaces left...

I swear this event is bugged or something. It took me 4 attempts to pass the intermiate exam (3 tries so 12). After failing the first 3, inlooked up a guide and arill failed despite following their exact steps.
Then it mysteriosuly worked on the 12th try.

Was it really supposed to be a puzzle? Like you're allowed to overlap. Also the game asks for more than a 100percent efficiancy so that's alreadey more than perfect :)
The first one didn’t allow you to overlap :’) some people in my chat convinced me that all of them could be filled 100%
