A very genuine down to earth unassuming unmaterialistic man who listened more than talking. He was brilliant in his craft as an actor musician humanitatian. He was able to retain lifelong friendships with young old alike.. My favourite movie of his is 'Missouri Breaks' as imo his character portrayed the real HDS. I think in many ways he is the epitame of what every American male from the south would wish to attain.
