- This video is the second part of the 414th Lufthansa Flight Training course. After having spent 5 months in Phoenix, Arizona, we returned to Bremen, Germany to continue on with 5 months of theory before writing our MPL exams. Thereafter we began training and flying on the Cessna Citation CJ1+ as part of our multi engine IFR phase.

An exquisitely well done video! It had "German Production" written all over it. My four years at Wiesbaden Air Base, in the late 60's and early 70's, taught me what dedicated "maintenance mechanics" the German workers are. My shop was Avionics Instruments.
These young people really put in the time and effort to excel - our hats must go off to them. Thanks again for the very fine video.

Hey, machst du den ATPL auch über Lufthansa? Ich warte aktuell immer noch auf den Kursbeginn, hatte meine FQ im August 2014..
Moin Moin ne mache die Ausbildung Privat ist qualitativ sehr gut und ist Billiger man hat eben nur keine Jobgarantie. Bei mir ist es so das ich mir darüber jetzt keine sorgen machen muss, wer keine Leute in der Luftfahrt kennt der sollte sich das 2 mal überlegen :) lg

Wieder ein Hammer Geniales Video, was einen Einblick in die LFT gibt, welchen es so bald nicht mehr geben wird. Die Firma befindet sich seit SCORE leider sowas von im Umbruch... ob und wann die LFT wieder öffnet weiß keiner. Lufthansa war mein Favorisierter Arbeitgeber, ich wollte hier Pilot werden, habe mit der Kabine begonnen und werde mich wegen der aktuellen Situation im Herbst bei der Swiss fürs Cockpit bewerben. Hoffentlich klappt alles so wie bei dir und ich hoffe das du bald einen Arbeitsplatz angeboten bekommst, bei dem du nicht bis zu 100h Fliegen musst (EW)..
Vielen Dank für den Einblick, das Video ist dir sehr gelungen. Würde mich freuen, wenn du aus dem bestehenden Material noch was raus holst :D

Great video, and above average editing! Really liked it, along with the Phoenix stage. Good for you, the Citation is a really nice plane. Did you have your PPL before this course, or is it a "from zero to airline" program?
Thanks. I personally already had a PPL but the program is "zero to airline", ab-initio.
And how do you see the industry as a fresh pilot? Do airlines need many new pilots in the near future? I'm thinking about starting a zero to ATPL course, which would give me about 200 hours on single and multi engine planes (no jets, only piston), plus about 60 hours simulator. I also have an ongoing glider training. Do you think it's likely to get a job with this low hour number?

#Hildbrand Small airplanes (private), none from Lufthansa. We are on hold.
I can't give you an exact answer since the school is changing its training scheme but it shouldn't be a problem if you're from Poland. You will need to know German.
Ok thanks. soo at the moment you are nat working beacouse they are rating a type of the plane for you (Like; A330 or A320 or A340 or A380)?

Meine ersten Schritte sind jetzt auch geschafft und ich bekomme mit höchster Wahrscheinlichkeit meinen erweiterten Realschulabschluss und gehe anschließend auf ein technisches Gymnasium um somit mein Abitur zubekommen! Wünscht mir Glück das alles klappt!😄😄

Fliegst du für LH, Eurowings, Austrian,etc oder wartest du auch wie viele andere auf ein Type Rating bei Lufthansa? Ne, es wird leider noch eine weile dauern...
Müsst ihr eigentlich in der Zeit, wo ihr immer noch auf einen Platz im Cockpit wartet, schon die Ausbildungskosten abbezahlen, oder erst nach dem ihr auch wirklich mal als copilot agieren dürft? :)
Ne müssen wir nicht, erst nach dem wir eingestellt sind müssen wir zurück zahlen.

Hey, vielen Dank :)! Ja es hat sich was getan, NFFs werden wieder bei der Passage eingestellt (die ersten starteten in Dezember). Wir sind jedoch noch weit hinten auf der liste für die Passage und fangen befristet bei der AUA an. Ich bin zurzeit im TR für den A320.

Will we be getting ATPL after this program ?
And Will we get job from Lufthansa after this program?
Dieses Video ist der Beweis für mich, dass ich den Traum des Fliegens nicht aufgeben darf! Ist es möglich mit einer Brille und Asthma zu fliegen? Mein Asthma hat sich stark gebessert und eigentlich habe ich gar keine Beschwerden mehr. Außerdem habe ich auch den Sehtest für den Führerschein ohne meine Brille gemacht und 100% als Ergebnis gehabt.
Bin kein Arzt also kann ich dir da keine genaueren Informationen geben aber mit Brille müsste es keinen problem sein bis zu einen bestimmten Dioptrien(+/-5?). Am besten redest du mit einen Fliegerarzt, der kann dir da bestimmt genauere infos geben ;).

Some one said to me on a Polish forum that when you complete the Flight school ,you have 100% guaranteed that the will give you work, is it true?

Dürfte ich mal gang dezent nachfragen? :-D Wie sieht die Situation in der LH Ausbildung momentan so aus? Werden noch Lehrgänge gestartet und wo landen die Piloten nachher? Die meisten kommen wohl bei Tochtergesellschaft unter oder?
Für die LH selbst haben keine neue Lehrgänge seit ende 2014 angefangen. Jedoch fängt in Februar einen Kurs für die AUA in Bremen an. Ja, eine gute Anzahl von uns fliegen in Tochtergesellschaften.

Die Gewerkschaft Cockpit ist immer noch die stärkste aller Gewerkschaften, weshalb es vernünftig ist beizutreten, sofern das berufsmäßig überhaupt Sinn macht.
