B35 was my first Birkin but after a while it was too heavy and painful to carry while mostly everyday life for me. I had to sell that bag bc I dont like an open tote bag for traveling either , no matter what the brand, so I stopped using her. I then purchased a B30... it is the perfect size bc you can carry a lot but it is sooo sooo sooooo much lighter than B35. The difference is quite dramatic. I also have collection of B25 but it is not as useful to carry as B30. B25 restricts HOW you can carry the bag to mostly hand held The strap drop is dramatically shorter than B30 where wearing crook of the arm is comfortable. I highly recommend you try 30 before getting 25, unless you plan on having 30 and 25 sizes eventually like I do. Over the years I have a large Hermes collection of B/K/C but B30 is definitely my fav size. Just a thought.

The JPG is more ideal for me than my 35. The JPG is wider so if doesn’t feel as heavy when I’m carrying it unlike my 35
