All these off-ride clips you've been posting & sharing are such excellent quality... kudos & thank you Ryan 👏 I've noticed in all the Iron Gwazi videos that the lift hill seems remarkably loud & there's a series of loud _'ker-chunk'_ sounds just as the train leaves the loading platform (eg. 0:22 )... can anyone shed a light? It could just be super-sensitive microphones in everyone's cameras, but I'm wondering if there might be some anti-rollbacks before that pre-lift mini-drop & maybe a beefier motor powering the chain lift that's just not in a sound dampening shed yet? These RMCs always get my engin-nerd brain cells firing! 👍
I can't tell you what exactly is going on, but I will confirm that Iron Gwazi's lift is incredibly loud and it is definitely not the microphone sensitivity-- that is what it sounds like, and it can be heard from both Montu and Kumba-- which are on opposite sides of the park. It's always been a very loud lift hill, and the 'ker-chunk' has always been there too, since they started doing test runs on it from when it was originally completed to now. It could definitely be a beefier motor, the lift feels fast in comparison to other RMCs I've ridden, so there might be more power there. I also do not believe IG has a sound dampening shed for the motor. As for the sound as the train leaves the loading platform, I have no idea what that is lol. Montu also has a similar sound when it's advanced into station, but much less dramatic than Gwazi.
Hey Ryan you Probably won't see this but I rode the hulk coaster and love it and plan on going to six flags fiesta texas do you think I'm ready for iron rattler
@@nickthepetrock403 Those Ibox are in fact old. The ride has been closed for years so those were probably painted years ago. Also, in Florida paint doesn't really matter as much because rust isn't really a big deal in Florida.
Loved seeing Coaster Studios at the end there
The sound after each airtime moment slaps so hard🙌
Tempted to fly out to Tampa to ride this! Anyone wanna join me this summer? 😎🤟
Me and my son are flying down at the end of next month. We have to wait until it opens to the general public because we’re not pass holders.
Do it it's super worth
I’ll be out there in June!
The wave turn in the front is amazing
Bout to go ride this in about an hour, cannot fucking wait.
God this was so good. Its really hard to compare to velocicoaster, so i wont. Its just an insanely good ride and totally worth the wait.
@@i_have_a_coat i was there today too, such a well done ride
They got rid of the wood?! Use to be my favorite wooden coaster, haven't been here in so long. Use to go all the time.
So glad this is my home park… can’t wait to ride this every weekend 👌🏼
I rode this thing Feb 18th, this thing is a beast, worth every bit of hype it's garnered over the past few years
It sounds so smooth!
Best coaster channel
I love this channel
At :55, I would be seriously reconsidering my life choices!
I totally agree.

I think it’s the breaks closing and opening
I can only imagine the amount of maintenance involved with those cars.

Top Thrill Dragster is now closed for the whole 2022 season.
How good are the transfer track laterals on this?
Stronger than anything I've felt before, about 7.5g's
Can tell this ride slaps cos the brake run wasn’t memed 😂
Are you gonna have long sleeves or sweatshirts in stock?
someone broke there hand on this ride already
2:22 the paint is already peeling-
Parts of the ride are very old, it used to be all wooden.
