I come back to this all I can :( I wish hitomi would create another band, he sounded beautifully with malice mizer 🥺 following his solo project is difficult
I can see why this band covered Malice Mizer for the 90's V-rock album - the singer has a great voice!
Interesting you mentioned Gackt & Kamijo, because like Kamijo, Hitomi was also a Malice Mizer roadie. Yet Hitomi was largely unknown for a long time when he was in Fatima since 10+ years ago, and Moran finally got to this level of popularity because they worked hard on their releases, promoting themselves & touring endlessly.

This song and the pv makes me shiver for some reason..
It's just natural that the seniors got more popularity than the juniors. They've proved themselves for many times, and basically they've released more so more songs and lives to catch the hearts and ears. From all the bands you mentioned I only like Moran, but I have a high respect for Versailles, D, and Gazette for their hardwork and loyalty and I think it's not a shame for anyone to get caught on them^^

First words out of his mouth..and I'm already in love wih this music. And just like that, the fish was hooked. :P Moran has one more fan now. Beautiful scenery in this as well. T'was love at first sight and sound for me. :)

Alot of Shit has happened in the VK which is really saddening, I mean come on, in 2011 Kagrra disbanding and then the vocalist Ishii dying later that year, Zill dying, Bou leaving, Taiji dying one day earlier than Ishii on the 16th of July. A lot of sad stuff has happened.

Agreed, I've been listening to bands the gazette for almost a decade, ever since I discovered them in middle school. When it comes to visual kei, music and style should always be respected, and I believe that's what most good bands try to take into consideration. It's not their fault that they attract certain fans who only care about their appearance and don't even stop to think of the message their music conveys.

I don't know any visual band that I can call "post-rock" actually (maybe someone else knows), but Moran's former guitarist, Velo, after he left, used to be in another band called DIMMDIVISON, which sounds very heavily-influenced by shoegaze & post-rock. They've only released 1 mini album. Look it up ^^

the gazette has thier name everywhere because they are good and they worked hard for that, but besides that i watch alot of other j rock like vistlip versailies alice nine, all of them are awesome! but who cares bout names its the music and feeling thats best i love this song its so emotional

Hmm I can't really hear what was said in the beginning, but I heard the words "slowly, nice, snow--?" and then I can't hear the last word, hahaha, sorry not too helpful. But I think they're just general comments on the video take.
Lareine was a big VK act back then... their songs reach various levels (they had more male fans than any VK band nowadays),while Fatima was way too quirky for society,not to mention their extreme fanservices xD
and above all, Kamijo was very ambitious and Hitomi was very laid back so if you compare their number of releases,activities and promotions, they were extremes too xDD (and I'm Hitomi fan more than Kamijo fan so it's torturing LOL)
Yes! Actually I really doubt that Moran is making money out of being in the band (although I really suspect Soan & Hitomi have day jobs that are relevant to the music scene they're in, possibly on record labels. But that's just my own gut feelings). Most bands on small record labels probably are losing money or at best breaks even. Even bands on major record labels, if they aren't popular enough, probably aren't making money and might even get in trouble if they don't sell enough records.

You're not making a right comment in the right place because Moran isn't famous at all. Go to a random Japanese, I doubt 1 of 50 know what the hell is Moran. And Hitomi, the vocalist, has been in visual kei scene for 18 years yet no one can relate a word "fame" to him.
It's the same with them, it's their opinion on whether to have have had commented or not, like I said you could have had ignored their comment too
