Ok, a couple of things: 1) That's one of the most beautiful routes I've ever seen. 2) Jonathan is a full blown master of the art. Period. He climbs like a surgeon. Unreal precision and attention to every detail in every body position. It is absolutely amazing to watch. Nobody climbs like him. Not a single wasted movement, not a single misplaced toe. I can't even fathom the stamina. Good Lord.
jstar is as mellow as they come. dude sends 15, power screams one time, clips chains, and just says "ok.". a quiet "yay" is as big of a celebration as we get. what a STUD
JStar keeps it real. He continues to repeat and FA/bolt routes. I will note that Kinder again hit the edge of the envelope with this rig in the Skull cave. Another outstanding bolted FA, from the self sponsored Joe Kinder 👏 👍 👌
I want to see more of that belayer. Whoever he is is the greatest rock climber ever. I would give him so much money if I was a sponsor. Definitely the best belair, person, and rock climber ever
The mental fortitude to send routes like these is exhausting to think about let alone to actually physically execute. Superb! J. Siegrist is resting on holds I would probably fail to make moves on.
I was going to say like: Jesus Christ, how long is he going to climb this hard for? And then he found this beautiful knee bar. Also: This uncut format really is the best.
Props to Jonathan on one of the most beautiful ascents ive watched. Truly a master of the craft. If the person who filmed this video ever reads the comments I wanna know what camera you are using and your background. You did fantastic.
This shit would do 432 million at the box office; I have no doubt. Shouts to jstar, bearcam, mellow, dru running that gasoline belay, that dude joe kinder and rifle MF canyon yah feel
I bet Jonathan Siegrist doesn’t know that the dutch words for “steep” and “style” sound exactly the same, but after watching this, I’m sure it’s no coincidence …
So these really hard climbs obviously involve tons of strength and power but Jesus these are longer than most sport routes and require most of all endurance

if you wanna see another absolutely gorgeous roof climb then i suggest that you watch the video of moritz welt's FA of star shopping (9a).
Was about to comment exactly this. Adam Ondra said somewhere that rock climbing is like vertical ballet sometimes. I guess this is what he meant..

thats why i watch him so much amazing dude.
100% this
amazing endurance. and the calmness to it all. top class climber!
What I've just seen!? OMG If perfection exists, is Jonathan S. climbing this rute! So f*king inspiring.
Holy shit the quality of this footage. Thanks James. Also some of the most incredible climbing. Jonathan is such a master technician.
There's something really beautiful on uncut footage when it comes to climbing. Keep that path boys.
this is, by a wiiiiiide margin, my favourite mellow video
Unreal. That became meditative to watch. Endless props for that performance
So smooth through the hard stuff. Congrats on the send, Jon!!
Watching that felt like seeing someone floating through a dreamworld - the rock, the angles, the movement. wild af looking. 👏👏💪💪
I love watching Jon climb! He cruised that crux and sent the route in style 😎
#Mammut

this looks unreal. One day I could only hope to have a portion of climbing ability that this man has. He is a master at every aspect of climbing.
It's gotta be all that roof training at The Refuge, jk. Jonathan, you continue to inspire us oldies and young climbers alike. Keep crushing 💪
3:15 is he heel-toe camming on his own foot? That’s ingenious
Yeah the heel toe bar.. 😬
Yeah that's called camheel toe
Even my 30 metre routes take 5 minutes to send at most. To spend this amount of time on the rock, it must be insane to endure. Congrats.
Great send. Superior form. I strive for his style and flow.
You know when mellow posts a rope video it's gonna be awesome.
Finally some sport climbing 👌🏻
Borderline multi pitch
I may climb v2 but watch me get on mellow
I'm rooting for you
we're all gonna make it boyss
Relatable
Great video, please more sport climbing!!
I want to see more of that belayer. Whoever he is is the greatest rock climber ever. I would give him so much money if I was a sponsor. Definitely the best belair, person, and rock climber ever
was it you? 😂
Awesome job Johnathan!
I'd love to see a comparison of Jonathan's and Joe's sends. Anyone know where I can find a vid of Kinder on it?
I don’t think there is one, not 100% sure though, and would love it if I was wrong.
More 4k sport videos please 🙏

This route is crazy….so long damn. And it is beautiful rock Wow
Dru on the Gri!
mad respect
like watching a spider crawl up a wall, efficient, silent and powerful. Great send, great video
WOah - what a long battle
Yes, totally agree with the precision comment; it’s almost like he’s in slo mo. The ruler of static 🎉

only by watching this, palms are sweaty 🥵
Getcha some!!
Loved it
Dude, sick line!!

Wow! So technical 🙌
"awe fuck that was hard" love to see it!!
I reckon I could do the first 4 moves off the ground, well on my way to 9a+...
In the beginning the pocket in front of J-Starr looks like he has a fresh goatee.
jstar is such a beast
🔥🔥🔥
What a nice video
How the hell? all the holds are upside down...
🎯🎯🎯
Okay, so that's roughly 13 minutes of body tension.
The rock kinda does look like cake though
This shit would do 432 million at the box office; I have no doubt. Shouts to jstar, bearcam, mellow, dru running that gasoline belay, that dude joe kinder and rifle MF canyon yah feel
Adam Ondra said somewhere that rock climbing sometimes is like vertical ballet dancing. I guess this is what he meant...
Feel free to edit the knee bars
that was tight, I'd be cool to watch him try Bibliographie
it^

Começar com a primeira costura batida não é cadena
It’s for safety.
na verdade a primeira não tava costurada 1:26
