I flew with Air Canada between Washington DC (IAD) and Vancouver. The only bad news is the flight delays that Air Canada is known for. I enjoyed their economy seats on the Air Canada flight. I find the economy seat there reasonable.
I used to think that Porter was the best, however, this past February my husband and I flew Toronto to Miami on Porter. We paid extra for the “nice” seats. Well, it was AWFUL! My husband and I were so surprised, and very disappointed. On the way back from Miami, 15 min before landing in Toronto, the plane lost some pressure, not a nice feeling. I remember Porter having the best “economy “ seats. This plane didn’t have nice seating. I would rate it a C. Hopefully they get better and go back to what it used to be.

I agree porter is a great airline, Sunwing is not so much..i just wish we had more competition here in canada.
Yes more competition for the airlines would mean cheaper prices for us!

Yes air canada is great value for the money

You say Flair is nickel and diming for carry on buuuuut Porter The S Tier airline does the same for the economy basic ticket
As long as Porter keeps offer free beer or wine & snacks with free wifi & great customer service, i am happy 😃

Porter, easy.
Flair was worse than Swoop. I flew Flair once while Swoop was in operation, but otherwise I avoided it in favour of Swoop.
