The thing is that this is what you have to deal with when your an older sibling you get pushed aside for a little bit but your parent(s) still love you the same you just have to get used to having to share some of that attention then you will learn to love and hate your younger sibling(s)
Ok this is long and I apologize for that in advance, I also apologize if I ramble at all, but this is something that gets me slightly mad, if I come off as aggressive or angry please know that is not my intention I just want to share my experience as a younger sibling, in fact, the second youngest of 6 half-siblings and countless step siblings and siblings-in-law. I have an older brother who is treated way better than me (He is about 3 years older than me), who can rile me up constantly but god forbid I yell at him for riling me up, not to mention he can hit me but if I dare fight back I'm the one getting punished. Should I mention he also tried to drown me when I was only 5 and got no punishment for it? As a younger sibling who has had to suffer with constant neglect to the point of having to sleep in a room with black mold (My mother and Step-Father are both aware of this mold and complain about it whenever they enter my room. I seriously want to get out of here but 1, I'd get overlooked because I'm not that important and 2, I have an issue when it comes to letting people I'm emotionally attached to go) I have to say it's not always nice to be a younger sibling, yes younger siblings usually do get the attention more often than their older siblings but it isn't always the case of it being shared afterwards sometimes the parents completely forget about the younger sibling and go back to the older siblings, neglecting the younger sibling.
I feel like most oldest siblings who were only child for 4+ years wished for one but then you end up being very responsible for them then you end up strict parent cause it’s in your nature😅🥲

Damn lucky. I'm the oldest of 3 and both of my siblings are little and annoying. They get most of the attention, but i dont really care. I'm on my iPad most of the time anyway. The downsides are that they're annoying and i have to clean up after them -_-

Most parents aren't like this, my parents definitely aren't. They treat me and my little brother with equal love, there's no favourite. That's how things should always be, but unfortunately it not always is.
The parents deserve that in my opinion. Treat your kid like they don’t exist in like their mistake and you’re going to get cut out of your child’s life..

I think personally that graduation is more important than a ballet recital. It’s dumb to think that a ballet recital is more important, because this happens every years and graduation happens only one time in your whole life!

I though good chuck of time and dreams of having a siblings but when I. got older I saw this movie seriously happening in real life. It breaks my heart to see this because it happens in real life. I'm grateful for. being an only child because this happens. Some people like them don't deserve children if this is how they treat them.
I know right?! Every time I watch these sibling videos on the eldest being the second parent, one neglected, etc. I thank God almighty for making me the only child. I would leave my mom and never come back and put her in the nursing home
@@jaylajewel818 I wouldn't want my mom to suffer but, I probably wouldn't contact her as much as a daughter is supposed to because, she'd know why. After all, why would she need me when she has her 'perfect' child 🙄. I would be disgusted to even acknowledge them as my 'parents'. But thanking the Almighty, I have a loving mother, father and big brother who I love with all my heart 🙂♥️

this is so relatable my parents only care about my sister Everytime she does something wrong i get the blame they only care about my studies and my sister always gets new items and i get food or something i hate and they never leave me alone my sister is the one who ruined my family and always gets attention but they don't see it :(

I remember watching this when I was 9, and at every single part when Genevieve was brought down by her parents and Miracle was favored, I legit rewrote the entire scene in my head where Genevieve actually stands up for herself and rewrites her life completely at a younger age. I would sometimes spend hours just thinking about the unfairness and inequality in her life. That’s true talent from the creator. Watching this again just brings back so many memories about Gacha Ute rally being my entire childhood.

Oh Genevieve, I’m so sorry…” They didn’t know where she is. The mom said in tears, “We shoulda just…treated our children equally. We are bad parents.” It took them a few years until they found Genevieve at her business. She and her husband were talking before seeing her parents again. The father and mother were going to hug her but Genevieve stopped them and asked, “What are you doing here?” The father replied, “W-we came to apologize… sweetie, we… We know what we did is wrong but…” Genevieve stopped them and said coldly, “You are too late to apologize. You both are strangers to me.” That was the last time they saw her and her family.
