GSM takes peak upto 2amp, & working voltage 3.3v to 4.6.... When the battery voltage drops @3.4v or 3.5 the peak current causes battery voltage drop upto 3V and it get reset.. and after battery auto recovery it turns on again resets.... So it shows floating recovered voltage....

Cool project! I think the "/csv" in the GPSTopic is setting the format to "Comma Separated Variables", since later in the transCoordinate function the coordinates are broken in to 4 values, separated by commas. Cheers!
As always, great video Sachin. may you could program the tracker to sleep before the battery dies, and activate when the battery level rises to a better level. Then manual reset would not be needed. i would like a LoRa Gps tracker for remote location tracking where no mobile coverage is available.
I was really excited about this product but then seeing the battery issues you experienced really killed it for me. Having only 12 hrs of battery life on a li-ion is not that great. Also having to press a switch is a massive problem. If the tracker is hidden in a vehicle it might not be possible to press the switch. I see that lilygo has released an R2 or v1.2 version of this board. Maybe it has fixed those issues? Are you able to get one of these new versions to test? Thanks for the good work
Hello, I had a question. Since the charging IC works with both Type C USB and Solar panel, does connecting the solar panel and USB simultaneously have issues? What I mean is, will the USB voltage flow into the solar panel and deteriorate the panel?
I had to use UA-cam's auto subtitles to understand what on earth this guy was saying. Anyway, if this device drains the battery overnight, the solution is definitely not a bigger solar panel. The solution is either a bigger battery or programing the device to be less power hungry in low light.
