Like your content, but not the worst environmental damage in history, not even close by volume, Deepwater Horizon 4 times larger, Nowruz Field Platform almost 2 times larger, Amoco Cadiz about 1.5 times larger, and there are more. One advantage is this one is burning hence the spill will be smaller but probably no clean up.
The wurst disaster come on!!! How about the gas pipe line north stream one in Germany I didn’t hear any one condemning it or stating how badly it will effects the environment, the environment issue seams is very selective.
Collectively, the spills from the three Nord Stream damaged pipelines pumped into the atmosphere 478,000 tonnes of methane gas. Overall, the twin leaks from NS1 lines A and B discharged about 388,000 tonnes of methane at the seabed, at a shut-in pressure of 175 bars, during 7 days.
Crazy thought here: Maybe the USA govt should stop supporting a Gena-side...? Cause even if you just care about the environment and don't give a 💩 about people, that's pretty damn polluting too.
It is not as bad as it may look. The temperatures in the area are insane. Most oil will have evaporated, or been fried, within a year. The same oil spill in Alaska would have been a completely different story. Basically, relax.

@@SpringIsBACK I'm recalling my Desert Storm memories and there was a lot more crude oil in the Arabian Gulf than a single tanker carries. I suggest much of the oil sank or floated away and wasn't cleaned up. So no worries about the attacking Houthis.
@SewingandCaring Red Adair capped wells and did not clean up the mess. I believe the environment will absorb the tankers load. Maybe the countries need to stop their civil wars to face the dilemma of the single oil tanker. I appreciate the work done by the clean up crews after Desert Storm and I was amazed by the quickness how the Gulf Water changed from a ugly oil mess to a clean Gulf. I was on a ship that deployed Helicopters during the mine clearing operations and I saw the water change in a month. I believe the experts were wrong after the Gulf war and are wrong now.
It kind of reminds me of some former neighbors. They didn't pay any bills. After having their utilities to include water and sewer cut off they started using the basement as a bathroom. This went on for six months. When they were finally evicted and the house sold at auction for non payment of taxes it was beyond inhabitable. The Houthis remind me of the same thing, they are so determined to do damage it doesn't matter if it is their so-called allies or that it will ultimately damage themselves.

Why did the Houthi destroy the oil tanker? Why would a terrorist organization destroy the Nord Stream pipelines? No mystery. After every attack, the Houthis publicly announced why they were attacking certain commercial tankers and Navy ships.
Same people worrying about "pollution" is also fracking the hell out of their country, leaking chemicals to groundwater, and emitting most greenhouse gases per capita.
As far as Palestine goes, they started the war and brought it upon themselves. If their choice of leaders cared about them as their citizens, what is happening now would not be. They had peace until they chose to break it. They were fools if they expected no retaliation.

Just as a side note, the reason the Houthis detonated that ship was to impose costs to the ship owners & their insurers.

I think they wanted to destroy the cargo by burning it.
The explosivs were place on top of the vessel to make the oil burn and not to spill i the water.
If they wanted oil spill, they could please explosivs near the water Line .
Makes sense. Greece was not among the declared targets of Yemeni warfare, this is an escalation and I suspect they want to use sunk ships like this to effectively close the Bab-el-Mandeb strait for good.

Thanks, I've been hoping since this Thursday to see a video from you about this incident. I'm also surprised that they still had an oil tanker go through the Red Sea, but I guess it's because the vessel was headed to Greece/Cyprus. Going around Africa would have taken several times longer.
Sweden and Poland halted their investigation on the Nordstream pipeline disaster. I'd imagine if they were concerned about environmental damage right next to their coastline, they'd make whoever blew it up pay

That's because the US did it but without approval from the President - who hasn't ever really been in charge. It embarrasses everyone if that's made obvious. But the USA definitely did it - funded, planned, and trained and provided logistics for the people who did it.

The fact they were able to successfully accomplish such operation with no casualties every time tell us they are professionals. In the navy, it took us a month of training to achieve that result.

Like your content, but not the worst environmental damage in history, not even close by volume, Deepwater Horizon 4 times larger, Nowruz Field Platform almost 2 times larger, Amoco Cadiz about 1.5 times larger, and there are more. The wurst disaster come on!!! How about the gas pipe line north stream one in Germany I didn’t hear any one condemning it or stating how badly it will effects the environment, the environment issue seams is very selective.
Double standards are part and parcel of Zionist mentality.

They'll just cry for more international aid, and the US will be soft hearted (and soft headed) enough to give it to them.
The Houthi’s probably did this to draw in salvage, tugs or firefighting so they can attack them.

Thanks for the update, and term environmental disaster is ludicrous, I saw the oil fires and oil in the water during Desert Storm and that was cleaned up quickly
Well, there is a rather large probability this WON'T get cleaned up. Who is gonna risk an attack by the Houthis?
If all of this oil goes to the Yemen coastline any of their desalination plants are done for.

3:20 150,000 gallons of oil is not even a fraction of the worst oil spills in history, still bad though.
Why did the Houthi destroy the oil tanker? Why would a terrorist organization destroy the Nord Stream pipelines?
No mystery. After every attack, the Houthis publicly announced why they were attacking certain commercial tankers and Navy ships.
Delta Tankers are on the side of their northern friend.
Do you think Houthis worried about pollution or Palestinians being slaughtered in Gaza? Are you ok upstairs?
And you do ... right?
