i feel like you focus a lot on visually representing the prompts, in my opinion it only needs to be inspired by the prompts so i dont think its a cop out when you dont have a part of it in the main focus. i think whatever the prompt makes you think of is fine even if its not obvious how you got there
That's true but I think including everything in the prompt is part of the challenge. It makes her push herself harder which ultimately makes her a better artist ☺
You always amaze me by your art, when I look at any illustration you do, it just looks like it pooped up from a book or that it was digitally made! That's how perfect they are. Keep up the good work :3 and Gl with your slam book challange :3
You're gay? That's amazing! Me too! I am sorry, of course it's a completely natural thing and nothing to be excited about, it's just nice to meet some fellow gays around the internet, seeing that there are so many couples having enough courage to express their feelings and share their sexuality with the world. Am I rambling? I'm rambling. Anyway, have a great day you two! ❤^^
EmperorBoy Are these two guys on your profile pic you? :3 Ahh sorry, it's not like I have a right to ask, since it's a private question, but I was just curious. 😅
I really appreciate the real time drawing, I’ve been meaning to ask you to do that for a while. I always feel I get to learn a lot by watching people draw/line/paint in real-time, and I enjoy your videos, so this editing you did here gives me the best of both worlds! And watching you gave me lots of confidence to get started drawing, so thank you for that!
When I saw you working on the final piece and thought about the chain prompt I thought the 'chain' was the supermarket chain that the dude was working for haha
my first thought with hot sauce and chain was basically someone (or maybe an animal) chained up surrounded by different ingredients (basically trapped in a kitchen), implying that theyre about to be cooked,, then theyre using hot sauce to melt the chain,, i love the piece you made btw (the design of the hot sauce bottle was especially cute),, and i love the backstory!!
ah, i actually quite like this prompt piece! it's kinda like one of those ordinary daily-routine artworks, which is lovely and simple in a nice way!! 0:
I am just a teen, and I love your videos Kasey! Your art inspires me so much, and the way you see your art and how you tell little stories about the characters is so cool. I can’t stop watching! Keep up the awesome work!
Kasey! You're such a role model to me, and the main reason why I feel like my art is taking a better direction. You always said that making your own art is better than fan-art because it's yours. I finally decided to stop referencing art from shows, pop culture, etc... and to make my own by studying from life. I just wanted to say thank you! Because I might still be drawing Steven Universe characters if you didn't inspire me to do my own thing like you have!
I like a mix of both like speeding through certain parts and then slowing it down when you ink an intricate or interesting part, or if your talking about the certain area you're inking slow it down for there or something. Idk I'll watch you no matter what, your personality and drawings are too adorable!!!
I really like this illustration! All the colors look good together, I love how the background turned out and when I look at it, I want to know more! This one is one of my favorites.
Also my money is on their divorce, it wasn’t messy, the kids don’t blame themselves, and the man worked his way up in the chain and now has a cozy job as an executive, the woman became a defense lawyer. They share custody and remain friends for a long while.
Redoing the background at the last minute was such a good idea! It really brought the story to a whole new level with extra simple detail and more interest to the piece! Awesome! Goes to show you don’t need some intricate background and color to really bring it all in.
Ah I think this is one of my favourite Prompt Illustrations, because it is super simple and and the backstory is super sweet. And I really think the backstories are the best parts of the illustrations because they give them some sort of life and meaning. Cant wait for the next one!
I thought you were gonna say the chain was the “grocery chain” haha! But I love how cute and creative your ideas are, and the simple shelves and products are way better than a complicated background, really keeping your focus on the characters while still conveying the setting of the story!!!!!! Love it!!! Have fun with Husband!
I actually think the simple background is better in this case because it shows that the characters are very focused on each other and not their surroundings. Really beautiful job, Kasey!
Love your videos! You're so creative and funny. I'm home sick today and I've been watching all your videos since last night! Love you Kasey keep it up!
your story makes the characters sound "chained" to their work ! c: also the fateful meeting idea could be like the red string of fate kinda concept which isn't strictly a chain but similar so I really think it fits the prompt well. I think this is really cute you sounded like you were being really hard on yourself about it. I like how a lot of your stuff is very whimsical and simplistic like this. also the best alternative idea I could think of for the prompt is a criminal who kidnaps people and chains them up and makes them drink really spicy hot sauce to torture them. o.o'
This is great :D I love how you tell the story within the illustration. I enjoy reading the comments to see what other versions have been imagined too. Thanks for sharing :)
I really like what you did with the background. As you started painting, I kept thinking that they really needed something more behind them to emphasize where they were, and that would obviously be shelves, but I thought that would detract from them and muddle them up. I thought this was a really great solution. It's there, but it isn't interrupting.
Don't forget to vote everybody Maybe if enouth people vote they are going to live a happy life together Btw i am wishing anyone who sees this a happy day
Just found your channel and I really enjoy it! My challenge for myself this year is to draw every day and fill up a sketch book to it's full potential. Seeing your channel is an inspiration! You got yourself a new subscriber
When I started watching this video, I was kinda hoping the grocery not was gonna propose with the hot sauce bottle like an inside joke. Lol I still love this!!
About the inking, I think keep it mostly speedy like it was, but sometimes do some real time inking for like a few seconds to add some variety! Love your art btw!
About the speed art, I'd say to make a real time slot when you begin to sketch/ line/ paint then sped it up, then put it back to a real time when you're finishing up the sketch/line/painting. Or you could do it when cool things happen: like blending colors together or something like that :p
It can be also the only moment they saw each other, he got fired and she change of grocery store and everything just stay like a love a first sight... This is so pretty. 😍
I like to see the sketch of the drawing on the watercolour paper 😁 apart from that I find the inking boring and the watercolour is cool 😁 love your videos! Just finished watching 1-49 drawing prompts, subscribed 😁
i gotta say the box looks really good. not kidding! i love the little detail lines you put on it. very unique to your style which i adore..! x also! if you ever decide to do tutorial videos, will you please teach us how to create expressions? i love how all of your drawings have these cute faces with very clear expressions..! i just can't get my faces to show how they're feeling.. especially when the drawing is supposed to tell a story.
One of my good friends had an older brother that always keeps a tiny bottle of siracha on his key chain. 😂 I thought of him instantly when you read these prompts.
I thought the chain was going to be like a 'chain reaction' because this moment between the two characters would be the start of a series of events in their potential love story
darn, and you could have said "oh he works at a grocery CHAIN store!"
super cute art either way!
That was my very first idea!
"Backgrounds are very scary" -_- My art in a nutshell.
mpsensha XD
What are you talking about
Backgrounds aren't my forte.
mpsensha h m m m
Haha, it's hard to take the leap sometimes for fear of messing up whats already been drawn 🙈
You are really tempting me to take up the 500 prompts...ahhh!!
and how on earth do you draw so much! this and the slam challenge...respect!
I really like to push myself... into my own grave.
KEEEEEEESH
Love at first hot sauce
Don't get saucy with me.....unless of course ur Kasey then by all means go ahead
i feel like you focus a lot on visually representing the prompts, in my opinion it only needs to be inspired by the prompts so i dont think its a cop out when you dont have a part of it in the main focus. i think whatever the prompt makes you think of is fine even if its not obvious how you got there
Yeah I agree

God I loved this, its stupid but it reminded me of my boyfriend(even though were both boys but still!!)
Also can I draw them??
Go for it!
You're gay? That's amazing! Me too! I am sorry, of course it's a completely natural thing and nothing to be excited about, it's just nice to meet some fellow gays around the internet, seeing that there are so many couples having enough courage to express their feelings and share their sexuality with the world. EmperorBoy 😭😭 I wish
Kürbis Wind no they're from a movie
Why was the guy stalking hot sauce
Stocking! Putting the product on the shelf. :)
Kasey Golden twas a joke m' lady *tips fedora into oblivion*
Mediocre PC Gaming It wasn’t very good :/
Hahaha, suffer it isn't, unless you heard "stalking hot sauce" like I did the first time.
Mediocre PC Gaming BAHAHA 😂😂😂😂😂
It does not matter if you cop out like you said the prompts just keep you drawing
I really appreciate the real time drawing, I’ve been meaning to ask you to do that for a while. I always feel I get to learn a lot by watching people draw/line/paint in real-time, and I enjoy your videos, so this editing you did here gives me the best of both worlds! I LOVE all these writing prompt videos. I watched the one with the Statue of Liberty, and a bottle of wine.... I DIED laughing. It was brilliant. 🤣🤌💋
No ketchup, just sauce, HOT SAUCE
I thought you were going to have it be a supermarket chain... but your cop out is fine too.
Ugh I want your art style
It's so y e s
No ketchup, just sauce
Sebástian Hugo raw sauce!
Sebástian Hugo heh
You could say it's was a "Chain reaction"

“And they had love at first sight!”
*Looks at eyes*
The guy is staring at the woman’s chest
ah, i actually quite like this prompt piece! it's kinda like one of those ordinary daily-routine artworks, which is lovely and simple in a nice way!! 0:
Why did you make her legs his skin tone? You painted them lighter than her face and hands lol
They’re tights!
Eliza George I think those are leggings...
Kasey Golden oooh sorry I missed that!
Yeah I thought so
Maybe she just always wears pants XD
I REEEAAALLLY liked the editing you did for the inking part :P and the storytelling is part of the reason I love these prompts so much
Confident Kasey:You gotta practice /draw the things you're not good at until you get good at it.
Scared Kasey :Backgrounds are scary.
Man! When you put the silhouette of the product in the background it just helped the painting read 100 times better!
I am just a teen, and I love your videos Kasey! Your art inspires me so much, and the way you see your art and how you tell little stories about the characters is so cool. I can’t stop watching! Keep up the awesome work!

The inking part was absolutely beautiful! And so calming. I loved it!!
Also my money is on their divorce, it wasn’t messy, the kids don’t blame themselves, and the man worked his way up in the chain and now has a cozy job as an executive, the woman became a defense lawyer. They share custody and remain friends for a long while.
I actually like the real speed super fun!
Redoing the background at the last minute was such a good idea! It really brought the story to a whole new level with extra simple detail and more interest to the piece! Awesome! Goes to show you don’t need some intricate background and color to really bring it all in.

Once I was sick and I found this series and I bingewatched all of them until 40 and since then I've been following this ❤️ I love it !
You are so amazing at making up backstories for the characters you draw!!!! Also your style is amazing too! Love this one!!!!!
This is actually a very sweet ilustration. It might not be one of your super detailed work, but it made my heart warm up instantly. Thanks, Kasey. :)
I like the real speed stuff! i find it relaxing watching the painting and inking process. And I quite liked this prompt and drawing!
I think the inking process is so soothing and entrancing to watch, so I definitely voted more real-time!
I actually think the simple background is better in this case because it shows that the characters are very focused on each other and not their surroundings. Really beautiful job, Kasey!
Love your videos! You're so creative and funny. I'm home sick today and I've been watching all your videos since last night! Love you Kasey keep it up!
That's a very *SpIcY* drawing
your story makes the characters sound "chained" to their work ! c: also the fateful meeting idea could be like the red string of fate kinda concept which isn't strictly a chain but similar so I really think it fits the prompt well.

I love the simplicity of the background, it makes you focus on the characters more.
My favorite part of drawing is inking, but I'm still new to it! So seeing the real time inking is helping loads!
I just love ur stories, they help me come up with my own and with that I draw them! You encourage me with how honest you are. BTW your the best!💙
your drawing style is so cute I love it gah! I also wanna pick up that 500 drawing prompt book now!
like I understand this is a G rated channel but hot sauce and chains and love got me thinking some kinky stuff was gonna go down ya feel me
This is super not a G-rated channel. People think it is just because I don't curse and draw cute things. But I also draw naked and bloody people!
Haha. I went with CIA guy wrapped in chains being forced to drink hot sauce until he spills the secrets.
MatschMomma lovely
This is great :D I love how you tell the story within the illustration. I enjoy reading the comments to see what other versions have been imagined too. Thanks for sharing :)

You're so great!
I am fascinating for your drawings. They are so beaultiful!!!!
Congratulations!!!!!!
Also yes I do like how you edited the inking for this video, the real time is soothing and the skipping keeps the pacing.
Okay, so I think that the oval background looks just like a chain link, and it’s linking the two characters together! How utterly profound!
I love the plain blurred concept of the background. Makes the piece pop
I speak spanish, i don't understand what you saying but i love your voice and art. :D
I actually really like this illustration ! Though you find it boring, i think it is very cute and charming !
I really enjoy your little back stories. So cute!
You got me back into watercolour and I can't thank you enough, I love it!
I think 42 & 48 are my fav prompts ( you should make more like them) btw amazing art so inspirational
love your drawing , it has much details than u think , and the simple background suit the picture very well
I think you did great with the prompt, because they're connect by the bond of love, and this bond is chains !
This is such a cute illustration! I love your art, it inspires me so much!❤
your art is incredible - I love your simple but effective style!!
I love seeing inking!! ESPECIALLY in real time! :O its really relaxing to watch,, I hope you keep it in in future videos :3
This is so good! I started doing watercolors because if you and I'm so inspired! You are so creative and funny!
"You never know what youre going to see" like the naked paper doll with the bush😂😂😂😂

Happy birthday broski ... My was the 14th😊
Ok so I realllllllllllllllllllly loved this in the end! The story telling just really set in when you finished that background.
Love the backstory! It really made for a much more interesting illustration
What a cute illustration! I love their backstory! Also, it's definitely not a cop out!
Yep. That's amazing. Like always. Gosh you're so good! I love your art style!
This is actually one of my favorite ones that you have ever done .✨✨💕
I personally like the way you edited the inking, but either way is fine with me. Keep up the great work! :D
I'd love to see this turn into an animation :D Amazing work!! :)
You can also say they are in a CHAIN of supermarkets, making you a creative genius
Just found your channel and I really enjoy it! My challenge for myself this year is to draw every day and fill up a sketch book to it's full potential. Seeing your channel is an inspiration! You got yourself a new subscriber
Loved this video Kasey!!!!
LOVE this prompt. I like the way you draw
I mostly love your channel for being a traditional artist. There aren’t many and I have hope that I can go places even without a digital tablet. Thnks
I like the real speed stuff. It shows me that I shouldn't rush too much... I'm impatient. I like your drawing videos also
When I started watching this video, I was kinda hoping the grocery not was gonna propose with the hot sauce bottle like an inside joke. Lol I still love this!!
About the inking, I think keep it mostly speedy like it was, but sometimes do some real time inking for like a few seconds to add some variety! Love your art btw!
I liked the simplistic background and I totally ship those two!

I like the real time inking because it makes it easier to pick up techniques.
It can be also the only moment they saw each other, he got fired and she change of grocery store and everything just stay like a love a first sight...
This is so pretty. 😍
I truly like this one. True love knows no bounds (or professions)
Your watercolors always look so smooth and flat, so nice
Woah that liner looks super fancy and cool! :0
i like the way you edited the inking
I like to see the sketch of the drawing on the watercolour paper 😁 apart from that I find the inking boring and the watercolour is cool 😁 love your videos! Just finished watching 1-49 drawing prompts, subscribed 😁
Someone make a fanfiction about this illustration 😂😂😂
Honestly, this piece is really great, for me it speaks "Cuteness overload"
i gotta say the box looks really good. not kidding! i love the little detail lines you put on it. very unique to your style which i adore..! x
also! if you ever decide to do tutorial videos, will you please teach us how to create expressions? i love how all of your drawings have these cute faces with very clear expressions..! i just can't get my faces to show how they're feeling.. especially when the drawing is supposed to tell a story.
I absolutely love this painting 😍😍😍
Lol did you accidentally leave last prompts description XD
Oh no! I’m a mess. I uploaded this a few days ago before leaving on a trip! xO
inking is sooo satisfying. You are awesome..... as always
A hot sauce keychain being flaunted by a hot sauce enthusiast would have been a funny prompt lol
One of my good friends had an older brother that always keeps a tiny bottle of siracha on his key chain. 😂
I thought of him instantly when you read these prompts.
I thought the chain was going to be like a 'chain reaction' because this moment between the two characters would be the start of a series of events in their potential love story
