any suggestion on tools? i have had the issue with the one on the driver side getting the new one in. any suggestions on tools you may have used being its such a tight fit would be appreciated
Be sure that the actuator pivot mechanism is lined up, I usually put the old one next to the new one and see if pivot mechanisms are similar. If not reach up there with your hand and turn trap door to position needed to install. If there are lined up it slips right on and you can now start installing screws. I needed no tools to install actuator, I just had to make sure pivot mechanism was in position to be inserted into trap door end.
But whatever you do, don't plug electrical connection onto actuator to try to line up pivot mechanism. You will damage actuator! Only install electrical connection once actuator is fully installed.
