- Reviewers said this game was bad but this gameplay says otherwise..
I started recording this clip trying to get no damage at 5 AM this morning and it's currently 20:00 PM.. I kept getting hit by some random moves from this Jumbo Dumbo Boss. I am still happy with the outcome but it seems I may have to upgrade my damage stats, these bosses in midnight difficulty are way too tanky.
Next time I'll do no damage for sure!

Gbg if you dont level up the flash attack in the strength skill tree you can switch weapons witout using a shrunken cancel. It makes switching weapons so fluid. You will only be able to max your strength category to about 96 or something but you can switch weapons at will without flash attack.

Have you tried the odachi yet? With shinto munen ryu if you use soaring dragon while unsheathing your sword switch to yagyu shinkage ryu it will perform one of the shoguns flame attacks

Those are apart certain stances, the dodges for certain stances specifically. Another channel you check is STARSON he made combat montages for all weapons, you can there different techniques and dodges. He might answer questions too.

Spare ii in chapter 1. Then in chapter 3 the blue demon gives you the stance. Just train with him at ninja villa afterwards to unlock the full move set. Otherwise unalive li in chapter 1 and only unlock novice
If you Kill Ii! You get it along with tatsumi Ryu I chapter one. Just like this man @Scuppo said, sparing him will allow you to unlock the whole moveset through blue demon in chapter 3
