This was a very important video to show not to objectify gays and that we aren't all just cute ships for straight girls to obsess over and stuff
There's a girl in my class like this who say's she loves this anime and she ships two adopted brothers(it made me so uncomfortable) but when i tried to talk about my (ex now) girlfriend and the awesome show the fosters and it's important story lines that center around issues that shows dont normally talk about she told my mom(homophobic) about my girlfriend because 'real life gays are sinners especially lesbians' it was awful.
Alex Archambault I've experienced that too, as a gay man myself i have found many cases of it being easier for people to ship it under their own terms when they can be 'uwu cute sweet cuddly boyfriends' as opposed to actual people who have real relationships. It's also easy for them to write fics but when they're greeted with actual gays, we're "sinners". Don't get me started on girls that ship gay couples and call them 'sinners' or says they're 'sinning'. I could rant all day, but this video was really important to demonstrate that and show that it isn't okay

Okay Mattias played Draco very well because every time Draco looks at Harry, you can tell he (Draco)just wants to be alone with him (Harry). And at 5:04 when the guys says take my hand Lavender made another gasp Draco didn't even look at her that time, all he could think about was doing that to Harry. He also bites his lip a lot more through this video, and every time Harry and Draco look at each other they smile. And the way Draco looks at Harry in the beginning just kinda makes the sign that he would rather be alone with Harry at that moment. That's a really hard part to play, having to look like you are seriously wanting another person without saying anything but with body language, Mattias deserves some props for doing that cause he did that very well. The gay best friend thing, I've heard it before, "I want a gay best friend so we can go shopping together!" And there you are not only objectifying people, but you're also saying that you'll accept anyone as long as this person's gay. You're saying that you'll accept anyone and don't care about the most important thing: personality. I truly dislike this. They're talking as if the person was an object, and as if the person being talked about had no feelings, because I believe that it wouldn't feel nice for someone to approach you and like to befriend you just because of your sexuality, and as I mentioned before, acting as if it was more important than the personality.
This comment is very late to this video, but I _needed_ to put it out there. Thank you for tackling this problems in a way that's fun and that anyone would gladly watch. Kudos.
