Indeed, R6 has become a completely "commercial" game rather than what it was supposed to be. They nerf and buff not based on reality, but based on the community statistics, e.g. Win ratio, etc.

So smoke and flash in and place claymore around hostage(shock hostage with twitch drone or shoot them since hostage has 150 health and claymore does 120 ), if the enemy steps on it, it will become really funny. kapkan trap works too but hostsage only can get killed if he has less than 5 health and usually attacker go out from the same exit, unless you place the trap right after they got in the room.
