At the complexes" or by residents of the complex....wordplay is always crucial and deceptive.

It’s crazy how so many Republicans are the ones scooping up the contracts for these things and Republicans are blaming Democrats yes Democrats are awful but keep in mind Trump Sean Hannity Carl Tuckerson all invested in a ways to scheme from section 8 housing and then retract funding once they receive federal approval so they can use it on circulatory accounts and their own personal favor

Didn't they just have the same exact talks several months ago? The police said they were going to create a little group to "target" the apartments with the most crime and the council said that wasn't enough and they wanted to come up with something that I'm sure restricts citizen's rights in order to prevent crimes that haven't happened yet, and they wanted to come up with some new standards and procedures for apartment management to follow... How's all that working out? Why are we doing another story without follow up from the stories from 5-6 months ago?

Pop Up Check Points are a good first steps.

Great first steps....for further trampling on the rights of the people and pushing the police state forward. What would the check points you're talking about be designed for?

@@vitogriffin8902who cares about the rights of violent criminals? Because I don’t! I care more about the innocent victims.

@@BassGodPantheon no shit Sherlock, but the "violent criminals" who nobody cares about, live, move, and operate among everyone else. So what is a pop up checkpoint, and how does that detect or deter criminals without stomping the rights of everyone else? I'm not ok with the vast majority of citizens in those areas who aren't violent criminals getting shaken down and harassed by officers who've been sent there by people who don't live there or have to put up with that kind of tyranny and abuse, just so they can maybe make stats on paper look better. Then you're putting everyone in the area at both the mercy of the criminals, and the police, so now they're ducking possible violent encounters at every turn. Have them start the checkpoints right at your house and see how much you like it, then set them up all over the neighborhoods where the council members and the other elected and appointed tax paid officials live, and if it works out real good and y'all are happy with it, then they can approach the public with their thoughts and ideas about expanding them. There's a reason you don't see license or dui or any checkpoints other than immigration/smuggling in TX, and the reason is because they're unconstitutional and counterproductive.

@@vitogriffin8902 🤦🏾… now I have to respond to a wordy encyclopedia…🤨🧐🤓. First let me help you understand me. One. I know for a fact there’s systemic biases in the system. The numbers speak for themselves. I believe we black folks should be more proactive in policing ourselves. We can’t continue to allow white people to police us without established community black civilian oversight (members of individual communities) Second. The vast majority of the citizens in these areas most definitely more afraid of the shoot ‘em up bang bang bangers than they are of the police. That’s why these people don’t talk to the police because of fear. Third. As to the “pop up check points”. Individual community members CIVILIANS WHO ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE COMMUNITY will or should work in partnership with their local pd’s. I understand your point about the licensing/dui check points. But things are clearly spiraling out of control and this do nothing attitude ain’t it!!!
