I've been looking for tutorials on how to remove and replace the VF SV6 front interior door handle as the chrome has split on mine. Does the door trim need to come off?

Excellent video mate. Very well guided. I was looking for how to remove the door skin for my vf ssv as it has water in the rear right door. I am sure this video will help me open it up and clean up the debris or find out why it got filled with water. Thanks again champ.

Hi, I was just wondering if the ve and vf exterior door handles can possibly be interchanged, because I have found specific ve handles that I want to put on my vf sv6 wagon and want to know if they will fit and word properly?

Do you have a video of VF Commodore centre console and MyLink removal and reinstall? Others I’ve seen are poor quality and have arms and hands in the picture obscuring the process. Mine is a Calais V if that makes a difference.

@@kjvirtualmotorsports Hi Kurt. Yes, I did get the console out. You’re right it is easy, but only if you know how. I think it would be useful to others to have a start-to-finish video on how to remove the console. My issue was that the USB plug inside the console bin had come apart. I think this happened when I had Apple CarPlay installed since the AUX input is used in this process. Taking the console out was the only way to fix it. Mine (being a Calais) was a bit laborious due to the electric seats being slow to move back and forward to access the 2 screws in each side.
When taking the handle out and not put the screw back in but the door stays closed for some reason. . Any hints or help mate? Besides thoughts and prayers.

Is the little silver lever sitting out or has it gone back into the door?
For some strange reason it was stuck up on open and couldn't pull any more inside too. Had to remove inner doorskin and remove yellow clip holding rod to release. Nightmare that day. Thank you for reply.

I'm not too sure on that one, i'd say it's possible but unfortunately can't tell you how.
