School Days at Duke University

School Days is an annual program that inspires middle school students from Durham Public Schools to aim for college. Targeting students from families with no prior college experience, the event gives them a chance to visit Duke University, tour campus, meet professors, and explore labs, dorms, and dining halls.
With guidance from Duke students, staff, and Durham school counselors, participants learn about college life and discover the many opportunities higher education offers. Now in its 24th year, School Days makes college feel like a real possibility for these future leaders.
