Okay
By far the best visual ending we've had in a while. The resolution switches are so good, but the real life objects appearing is such an amazing reference to the actual plot of playing a "real world" game.
Hiromu Oshiro directed this ending, same guy who did the War of Underworld ED’s and Re:Zero ED 4. I can tell it’s him just by looking at the Ed visuals lol
@@phillipn6475yup, you can recognize the War of Underworld similarities mostly by the colors used
Not better than Oshi no koi ending that's still up there in visuals and depth.
@@ngrahamkgI think this one's better respectfully
@@sunkim2521Respectfully disagree. Too much CGI in this ending. Oshi no Ko ending has less so easily better
I love the fact that the opening is so straightforward and the ending is so cryptic. To me, this reflects how the story is mainly perceived as an action-filled power fantasy without much focus on characters and developments, whereas the real story is subtle and filled with mystery and character nuances. Example to the latter, one of my favorite lines from Episode 12 is when Jinwoo apologized to the 11 shadow soldiers he released.
the moment that is most connected to the ending is ***that one*** using the early mc form talking to jin woo
Fun fact: TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (Known for Unravel, and First death) is the one who produced and composed the song.
I mean you can tell its his writing, it sounds like a Ling tosite sigure song being covered lol
I'm 100% sure any song brought by TK and Ling Tosite Shigure are always good match with a dark psychological theme and this one is really good
Real@@farhanmaulana2288
i knew it, when i fisrt heard this it sounds so much as TK xD
Yea that makes sense
Probably the only time when I liked the ending more than the opening, and it’s not because the opening is bad (it definitely isn’t, the opening is good as well), it’s just that the ending is that incredible. Great job to whoever did the visuals and the music.
Tower of god

The ending is soooo correctly done, especially when you know the story. This is an amazing foreshadowing combined with an amazing musical accompaniment.
How I interpret it is Jinwoo starts at the top of the elevator, having just been admitted into this new reality separate from what is known to the hunters by accepting the system and formally becoming a player in the struggle between Rulers and Monarchs for control of the universe. The institute he seems to be in is the system, which has now bound him. He starts opening doors and unlocking the lockers shown which are symbolic of him leveling up and the various watershed moments in his power progression, uncovering more and more of Ashborn's power, possessions, and past as he descends rapidly down the elevator to where Ashborn awaits him, having watched silently all this time.
The tree I believe represents the Earth as it burns from the conflict between the Rulers and Monarchs, even at the hands to Ashborn himself who joined the Monarchs on their assault on humanity.
There are three characters here. Jinwoo as he descends closer and closer to Ashborn. Ashborn, in Jinwoo's form, on the chair watching him and awaiting him at the bottom of his journey. And finally the man watching Jinwoo from the dozens of television screens who I believe is the Architect of the system, the one overseeing everything and ultimately the one in control in Ashborn's relative absence until his screens are blue-d/red-ed out as Jinwoo and Ashborn becoming closer and closer until the Architect is pushed out forever, absorbed and defeated as his observer chair is left empty at the end.
As for the song, I think it's not from Jinwoo's perspective, but both of their perspectives. I won't go into much depth, but there's various lines about revolution, awakening power within themselves, and bemoaning their weakness and inferiority. For Jinwoo, the relation is obvious. He was the weakest hunter, fighting back against the circumstances dealt against him, and awakening the power of the system to overcome his limits. But the lyrics are even more obvious for Ashborn. He is the revolutionist; he stood alone against the Rulers when they rebelled and he stood alone again against the Rulers and Monarchs as if in protest of their aims. He also literally awakens the power sealed within him by the Absolute Being, turning from the Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light into the Shadow Monarch. Yet, despite being the greatest and strongest amongst them (baring Antares who is stronger than him in single combat), Ashborn is the most helpless as he could only stand by as the Rulers killed the Absolute Being. The best line for him and Jinwoo I believe is this:
"革命よ私を探せ 雷鳴よ私を醒ませ" or _"Revolution, find me. Thunder, awaken me."_
i believe this is the best analogy so far
i refuse to believe this is a youtube comment
amazing
The ending gave me chills about backrooms....💀💀
Same
for me it looked like a mental hospital..
@@marialeemah3130 the backrooms is kind of an asylum itself.
My interpretation: the elevator scene is him losing sanity as a result of all of this out of control levelling. In one scene in the elevator he looks like he’s feeling pain, but in another he’s just laughing and going crazy. This is what the pursuit of endless power can do to people. Consider that the animators symbolized levelling UP as an elevator going DOWN. This is kinda like the saying “spiralling down into madness”.
In other scenes, it looks like he’s trying to “find himself” in this “building”. I see the many floors and rooms as new powers to unlock. Once he hits a level (floor) he can explore that level and see what boosts/skills he wants (going door to door; also the locker room scene might be his reawakening).
Notice how eery and scary it is in this building. This mirrors the levelling up experience for him in the show which is very lonely and scary. Why is it lonely and scary? Well he is pretty much the only one he knows with this ability and so now he can’t relate as well to others.
Anyway, also notice how some halls here are pitch black - this seems to symbolize how sometimes he has no idea what lies ahead on these levels/floors. For example, in one of the scenes, the TV is actually randomly in a hall instead of his “hospital bed room”. I’m pretty sure the TV represents those notification/menu windows that pop up randomly for him as he beats enemies or unlocks skills here and there.
Now in a different scene it looks like someone else may be watching him (the room with multiple screens) just like how in the show his progress seems part of someone’s preordained plan. That said, it could also still be him, just a different part of himself watching himself, seeing all the levels as a whole. In the scene when he leaves that room, maybe it’s because he was searching for his original self on the security cameras and found it for a brief second, so he goes out and runs to find it. It also might be that the entity watching him notices that he’s trying to find his original self and the entity doesn’t like that, so he goes out to stop it.
At the end, the inner original part of himself in the hospital bed room seems to both fear that someone else is watching him, but he also seems to want his new powerful self to become grounded and remember who he was originally - i.e. to find his original self and visit him in this room. But when the door opens it looks like he has failed. The handle moves and DOES open a door, but it’s not the original self door, meaning the powerful self just found a new power, instead of remembering his roots. RIP.
The tree is idk, seems like maybe a future event would explain it. Otherwise I’d just interpret it as his power becoming so great he is also even using it to take life away. Fire is usually very hard to control as well and spreads like hell.
If you enjoyed this plz give it a thumbs up, thx
This interpretation is beautiful but also incorrect
@@nerose274I think that's the best part abt personal interpretations, even if they don't make sense in the canon lore they're so interesting that they could be their own story
Did well with the symbolism
CONTEXT: Its Jin-woos old self which he lost the moment he died, And is stuck in this place in his sub-conscious, tho he keep getting stronger irl, but his old self is restrained in this static world, but he tries to leave this room, while all the scenes if u see connect to each other, like the tv scenes are from when he is in the room at the start then he gets out. Gradually realising that someone is watching, that person whos looking at the surveillance footages could be the system trying to keep his old self away from him. Then he realises the only way to free himself is to literally free HIMSELF from this place. He proceeds to set fire to the place realising he has a limited time, He runs through the hallways finding that "Door" which the moment he opens and looks through (The blue eye scene at the start) he vanishes, while opening the door (The last scene). And hence this maddening loop continues...
As in the end the song says "Maada Tarinai.." "Its not enough.."
Well this is how i perceive the ending.
I loved listening to Krage ever since I heard the ED on Raven of the Inner Palace. She never misses.
sad that anime is underrated
Krage is cooking with it
Pretty neat how they incorporated realistic backgrounds to the MV
That's cgi, isn't?
@@YAMI..... realistic*
The vocals are amazing and the visuals have a lot to do with sung’s loneliness and being so far from everyone else and his desperate fight to become stronger I love it

😂😂That shadow😂
Such a mesmerizing ending. The entire idea of combining the animated style with real life objects, in tandem with the song give me such a weird, but pleasant feeling. Got hooked from the first watch. I keep replaying this after every episode.
This series is going to be INSANE!
Oh yes you are in for a ride
Not only does it look absolutely fire, but it's also the best music I've ever heard in an anime
I love this ending so much
The voice, the music, the animation... everything is perfect
The last 30 seconds are the best part, both visually and also in song.
i really love this ending more than the op. it represents jin woo alone going around looking for something then he found a light and chase after it
After watching episode 6 , now I think I am starting to understand this ending
Whoever created it, truly is a genius ❤️❤️❤️
😍
Please explain
The meaning of it is him soloing just like backroom and the penality zone is lvl! run for your life!
I think the ending represent sung being a player who does whatever the system wants and feels unescapable
And represents its creador """Jin woo"""
I always saw it as the system is opening the door for him to reach heights, no choice but to either accept it or stay where he is and waste away
@@Ryakkusu spoiler: he can't
@@nerose274 spoiler: he does. he made it obey him
@@baponrs9826 I know,but actually he can't
Not until he *Eats* the system
Him anticipating the suspense of the door opening by itself and him realizing it’s no one there but himself is my favorite part
Love this Ending because of the Sheer amount of interpretations people have.
Шикарная песня и замечательное аниме
TK really cooked with the music
Best anime ending i've ever seen
I swear if they put this song in a fight i'm gonna pass out

i wanna see a whole anime based on this ending
This endings spoils the whole story..XDD
yeah same. but psychological thriller anime, not game thingy
@@rawraw-u6g the same thing I said before.
@@rawraw-u6g yeah
This somehow resembles Nier Automata opening theme (Escalate by Aimer). They are not nearly same, but at the same time somehow similar.
No matter how many times i watch this. It's always reminds me of 999: 9 hour 9 gate 9 person.
Now I just need a The Breaker anime to be made and my anime life will be complete. lol
Dont forget Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint!
TBATE and Windbreaker should follow🔥🔥
Also Legend of the northern blade
It seems like the ending is visualizing the sort of inner conflict Jinwoo has with the system and thereby the architect of the system and how in the early chapters he slowly becomes less of what he was as a person to better fit the purpose of the system and as the elevator keeps descending to lower floors which could be an inferrence to him getting stronger or leveling up as we see the elevator go up to indecipherable levels, which is what basically happens in the story, I won't say more than this because even what I already said can be considered a major spoiler by some but yeah I'm probably overanalyzing it.
What an amazing ending! Both the song and the visuals! Love that they’re doing the anime justice 🙏
Solo leveling in the backrooms

"You, who was always weak, always closest to death, and yet evaded death again and again. I watched you. Even in the opposition of the Architect, I picked you. I shall say it once more. I am the record of your struggles, the evidence of your resistance, and the reward of your pain."
Ashborn 🤫
The fact that he was the weakest all this time its reflected by this ending 💔
This songs actually makes my brain trembling WOW GODLIKE
Best ending ever!!!
the ed is the one good thing to come out of this anime
They are making a simple power fantasy story into something great
Обратите внимание на переход холодных на тёплые тона. И считайте дерево как устои мира.
When the Anime came out I deadass thought the outro was part of the show. I was like "What the hell are they doing to Jin-woo ?" 💀😂
Hidious and lovely at the very same time ...
I love that they just made the outro lobotomy core😂
Man, the foreshadowing in this one is craaazy

Best ending I hav ever seen.
I never thought I'd ever live to see this work of art adapted. I think I'm gonna reread the manhwa and novel again ahaha
One of the best visuals I’ve seen ❤
Ich finde es so geil das wenn jemand etwas auf englisch schreibt man es auf deutsch übersetzen lassen kann forher war es nur mit anderen Sprachen wie zum beispiel russisch so
Solo leveling is the best anime of the year
This is the best anime ending I've ever seen.
loving this opening and ending song🥰🥰
Feels like a peak tier opening to some psychological thriller anime, similar vibes to psycho pass
The intro and the outro are so good
This kinda sound like a ed to Tokyo goul or psycho pass
Awesome ED
This ending is a homage to oldboy
Couldn't ask for more love both op and ed❤
Letting ppl know, this didnt happen in the manhwa webcomic.
This is just for setting the mood of being alone and isolated.
So don't interpret what the tree means or the TV. There is no tree.
TK = 🔥🔥🔥
I like the song a bunch and finally decided to pay attention to the visuals and yeah the artistic visuals of empty rooms definitely are describing the phobia of empty large rooms. So yeah the foreshadowing to me means "creeping fear", chasing, and eyes watching. The burning the tree is something i dont get though maybe burning it all down? Anyway the ed is way cooler than i first thought it was.
This one straight from the backroom☠️☠️
The ending looks like backrooms..maybe thats what a dungeon is!!! xD
Solo Leveling is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
TK THE GOD
This outro reminds me of Psycho Pass 🔥
투바투 아름다운 노래를 불러주셔서 정말 너무 기쁘네요 항상 성공하시길 바랍니다💙
Is it me or is it giving backroom vibes?
I thought they were singing "regress, regress" which would be fitting too I think (please no spoilers, I'm on par with the anime and read until 6th volume!)
Sung Jin Woo goes to the backrooms 😂😂
