Watching you cook is my asmr 🙏
I tried purple carrot. Phenomenal. I just made my first meal. I can put the trash in what it came in. I reused the ice packs in my husbands lunch box. I thought it was great. Easy to use. Wonderful taste!
so happy to hear :)!
this changed my life
I wonder how they would cook in an air fryer! Thank you for the review!
Oh good idea!
Amazing !
This was very helpful
I’m glad we could help 🙂
that looks good!!!
I just ordered and get mine on the 10th. Got this to help me learn how to cook better stuff
nice!
yay something I can serve to people and be able to say that I "cooked" it!
Yay!
Nice
Emily, good thing I didn't have BIG ORDER because power went out ☹️! I have one freshly meal left in fridge, how long before I need to toss?
at worst, you can keep most of the meal and just replace the wilting and rotting produce from the supermarket.
What kind of skillet are you using on that electric stove? Brand name please. I'm looking to replace my skillets. I have an electric stove. glass top.
Oh that's a cast iron pan we ordered off of Amazon - amzn.to/2Y4vVEK
Would you be willing to do a review on Real Eats and Clean Eatz?
We can if you'd like! We've received a couple of requests to review Real Eats :).
@@FoodBoxHQ that would be awesome! Thank you.
I second the clean eatz review :)
Bottledupchai Do not get Real Eats. I had done Hello Fresh and Gobble, and Sprinly and liked all 3. Sprinly was good but very expensive and I felt most of the options I could just prepare myself, easily. I then wanted a more traditional prepared meal service. I watched tons of reviews and decided to try Real Eats first. It was the more expensive option and turned out to be the worst. I think it may be the packaging, because there was a weird chemical/plastic taste to almost every meal. It seemed to be more with the side dishes than the protein portion. I actually dreaded the first bite of each meal and some I just immediately tossed out. I next tried Snap Kitchen and then Freshly. So far Freshly wins. Snap Kitchen was not as visually appealing and the portions were smaller, but the tastes were pretty good. I may try some other meal services in the future, but for now I am sticking with Freshly. I hope that helps you.
@@HappyLife-wv5ms Thank you so much for this information! I appreciate it so much. I will definitely be looking into other options.
Thanks for the great videos. I’m a new vegan so I’m wondering what delivery service would you recommend?
Hello! For pre-made meals I love Sprinly. They're not cheap and don't delivery everywhere yet but their meals are really delicious. We actually just filmed another Sprinly review, which we're going to be putting out soon :). Green Chef is a good meal kit option, along with Purple Carrot (both not pre-made).
📝
that appears like a lot of work, I don't think I can afford the time it takes :(
You're right, it's a bit of work! There are some great pre-made meal delivery companies out there you could try instead. Snap Kitchen, Factor Meals, and Freshly are all favorites of mine.
lol get a food processor or veggie chopper im sure it helps
To be healthy you need to get the work done.
The thing you call dumplings are actually called momos
I really think we need to think more about the "plant based is automatically great for the environment" - because it's just not always. Look at what's come out about almond milk. About how quinoa has basically been colonized. About how friggin' processed "vegan" and plant based foods are when trying to mimic other foods.
Almond milk will always be better than real milk. Also there are fake vegans , who eat 'the unbelievable burger' laden with chemicals, and there are real vegans who actually eat WHOLE FOODS. Purple carrot is a whole food.... no chemical 'witchcraft' is included to simulate eating meat or to make the flavors more appealing.
How do you colonize quinoa? Is there a little ship full of tiny Conquistadors in each bag?
Let’s all remember that new vegans, no matter what they are eating, are saving the lives of countless animals. Let’s cut them some slack and just praise them up and down for not contributing to animal abuse and needless slaughter. ❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️
Not worth the cost
You say everything is in cardboard but this is a huge lie! Purple carrot is laden with single use non recyclable non biodegradable plastics.
true... i cannot say that plastic bags are the best place for produce....they sweat and rot in plastic.
