honestly, I am on the fence on this one. I have seen many videos of Mikayla being called out and I have some things to say. To be fair, I don't support Mikayla, I am a fan of Jeffree but no shade on that. I honestly think that people should be honest about how certain foundations work on their skin instead of exaggerating about how cute a product is or say that certain products match everyone. NOT ALL makeup brands are good for certain people. There are some makeup brands that are good for some skin types, but not all, and that is totally okay. Some foundations, concealers, and primers can be a good match for your skin; it just depends really. Now, in regards to Mikayla's video about the foundation from Huda Beauty, I think there was nothing wrong about it. She said what she said, it is her opinion, and she has the right to say how she feels about it. When Jeffree reviews a product and says it's not approved or if it is, it is entirely on his opinion alone. Does it match other skin tones? Most of the time, no, but it works for him and it might work for other people who have similar skin tones as him. That can be said to other influencers who use certain products on their skin. Some work some don't. Like I said, it all depends on what skin type you have. Now, here's my problem with Mikayla. Since she has had multiple controversies, and she never took responsibility for her own words by simply lying to her following about brands or people, I don't like her... At all. She made her wedding public when it should have been private. She faked her accents in almost every video, and that is problematic, but for a beauty guru to review something and say what he or she thinks, while having millions of followers, that takes guts. HOWEVER, for her to be called out over and over again, while she denies any allegation that is in her name, or completely ignores the subject matter to controversially review a different product, that makes matters worse. To top it off, she uses filters for her face, I have seen TikToks of her using filters before she puts on her makeup, I don't like that. never have. it may be cute for a 6 second viral meme on tiktok but it's not great for her image. One last and final thing (before I ramble on and on), the fact she used a specific makeup products many times saying it was shit then saying it was great, I don't know what to think when I see her applying it on her face. does she hate it off camera or does she love it? I can go on and on, but I won't. I'll keep it like that. I don't like Mikayla I don't follow her on social media, but she is a beauty influencer. She is everywhere on the internet. I just wish she could be more honest about brands and speak her mind without faking anything.
I don’t follow her, so I hadn’t seen this, but I think people were being super dramatic. All she said was that the foundation wasn’t for her. That being said, I think the reason we got an honest review is because she wasn’t getting paid. 🤷🏻♀️ Because she usually says every single product is life changing when it’s an undisclosed sponsorship. 🥴
Long time listener. First time commenter. So if you see in the beginning of the video with all the products, there’s a new milk makeup primer there that’s glow hydro grip. It didn’t launch until today so my mind is thinking that she wanted to put the video out but didn’t want to out the new product that wasn’t released. Maybe. That’s just my thought.
If we look Objectively, I live in a tropical country and have dry skin. tried this foundation and it’s very beautiful but can’t use it for fall and winter months. And I am saying this when i stay at a place where it hardly have winters. So yes, it is not the most dry skin friendly. And that is what she pointed out. But her own image is in question so much now that all of this in context makes it unbelievable and trashy.
Bless your heart! Thinking Mikayla is for once giving an authentic review is hilarious! She's 100% hater vibes! Especially since her "bestie " Samantha is in a campaign and she's not!! She's the star, not Samantha, in her sad delusional world.
Okay...I'm naive or misinformed here. I've been following Mikayla for a while now. I've actually found a few products I really love because of her demonstrations. I didn't think she bashed Huda Beauty. She simply stated it wasn't for her, and she prefers Patrick Ta. There were a ton of great reviews about Tir Tir Foundation, and it wasn't great for me at ALL, but I saw how beautiful it was on others. But anyway... Who are your favorite influencers to follow? I'm kind of new to following makeup influencers. Points for suggestions for women over 50 and no clue on how to really apply makeup, but loves it and wants to learn! :) Thanks!

Shes not bashing it. She is not even expressing that she doesn't like it. She's just saying that its not for her and that's totally fine.
You’re right. It really wasn’t that bad.
honestly, I am on the fence on this one.
I can't stand Mikayla, and her video wasn't even bad. Good lord.
Cancel her!.
Man I hated that foundation. It comes off and then it doesn’t look blurred. Such a disappointing
I think this is the first honest review I’ve seen from her. But it’s the boy who cried wolf scenario, no one believes her anything from her anymore
They are just hating on her for no reason at this point
Umm no. She's lied in so many videos so we definitely have a reason.
saying "this foundation is not for me" is not bashing IMO
If we look Objectively, I live in a tropical country and have dry skin. tried this foundation and it’s very beautiful but can’t use it for fall and winter months. And I am saying this when i stay at a place where it hardly have winters. So yes, it is not the most dry skin friendly. And that is what she pointed out. But her own image is in question so much now that all of this in context makes it unbelievable and trashy.
She's not bashing them, she just didn't like it 🤷🏽♀️
If they paid her she would say it was great. Like with the G2B brow gel reviews
Her review seems authentic to me.
I just don’t think she’s the only influencer being dishonest about products..
Juicy jazz did a great job on this product. Yall should go watch her video.
Bless your heart! Thinking Mikayla is for once giving an authentic review is hilarious! She's 100% hater vibes! Especially since her "bestie " Samantha is in a campaign and she's not!! She's the star, not Samantha, in her sad delusional world.
Can't get mad at an honest review
The foundation is good. I have dry skin. It’s not matte it’s natural finish. The primer is ok.
:) Thanks!
Same I tried the tir tir meh.
She said it looks cakey/patchy.. aren’t those 2 opposite things? One is too much foundation in an area and one is an absence of foundation. 🤔
I 💯 % agree with you in my opinion she did not trash talk the brand. She was excited to try it, she said she loves the packaging clearly she just didn’t love the way it looked and that’s okay 🤷♀️ I don’t get the issue
I didn’t know about the rumors..I guess I can understand why people would assume this & create that narrative..also I should probably finish watching the video before I start commenting 😆
She lives for the rage bait, khiiiim khaaaardahiaaaaannnnn 😂😂😂
There is no one size fits all with foundation. Perfect example of this is my sister & i with urban decay naked. she has oily acne prone skin, i have dry textured skin. The way she looks like an airbrushed goddess & i look like wrinkly paper mache with that foundation is wild 😂
