Consider that this song could have totally been used in the end credits for a (subject matter related) movie and at the very end of the credits roll, there was a classic 80s/90s cut-in scene of a helicopter departing with the movie’s protagonists inside. This would also explain why the song is largely uninterrupted and even played in full… this could have been easily clipped from a movie’s credits reel.

I have the most insane theory ever. This song is a part of CIA recruitment process. CIA has discovered Lostwave community and their determination for search, so they decided to pull a test. This who will discover the author will be recruited. That's why this song is so similar to TMMSOTI and that's why it was supposedly first discovered in 1984.

This song may be easy to search for as CIA could definitely be the real name of the song
this was recorded off a canadian radio station. canadian radio is known for playing songs from musicians that never get much attention as a result of canadian content requirements. there is a chance that these musicians are just one of the many cancon filler acts on this radio station and maybe some others in canada and they got played once or maybe a few times or maybe several times during a certain period of time when the song was new then were never played again and everyone forgot about them or never payed attention to them. another thing to note is that SO MANY canadian acts never get heard outside of canadas borders.
It seems that the CIA doesn’t want anyone to know about this so it’s unlikely that the song will ever be found

My theory states that there is a helicopter noise at the end, which indicates that one of the characters in the music video (If there ever was a music video for it) entering the helicopter as well as the helicopter departing.
I am not quiet sure but I don't think this Song was made for a Music Video. The helicopter Part at the end reminds me of a movie. Short Story: a couple full in love - he's doing everything for her - she can not stay in usa/can (?) and so she leaves him. she is on the run - cia is hunting her... something inside tells me i have seen this movie!?!?!
It's played on the CFNY, which is a radio station, so the host of the radio probably picked this song rather than it being in a movie.

Consider that this song could have totally been used in the end credits for a (subject matter related) movie and at the very end of the credits roll, there was a classic 80s/90s cut-in scene of a helicopter departing with the movie’s protagonists inside. This would also explain why the song is largely uninterrupted and even played in full… this could have been easily clipped from a movie’s credits reel.
