I have the most insane theory ever. This song is a part of CIA recruitment process. CIA has discovered Lostwave community and their determination for search, so they decided to pull a test. this was recorded off a canadian radio station. canadian radio is known for playing songs from musicians that never get much attention as a result of canadian content requirements. there is a chance that these musicians are just one of the many cancon filler acts on this radio station and maybe some others in canada and they got played once or maybe a few times or maybe several times during a certain period of time when the song was new then were never played again and everyone forgot about them or never payed attention to them. another thing to note is that SO MANY canadian acts never get heard outside of canadas borders.

This has to be from some 80's action movie about secretive operations or something. At 3:55 you can hear what sounds like a helicopter landing or taking off. Also, at 2:32 what sounds like a plane taking off maybe?

I have the most insane theory ever. This song is a part of CIA recruitment process. CIA has discovered Lostwave community and their determination for search, so they decided to pull a test. This who will discover the author will be recruited. That's why this song is so similar to TMMSOTI and that's why it was supposedly first discovered in 1984.

This sounds like some early 80's space-age, post-punk/new wave rock song done by a British second invasion new wave band to crack down on the CIA operating within the American government facilities in Washington DC or something like that to me.

this was recorded off a canadian radio station. canadian radio is known for playing songs from musicians that never get much attention as a result of canadian content requirements. there is a chance that these musicians are just one of the many cancon filler acts on this radio station and maybe some others in canada and they got played once or maybe a few times or maybe several times during a certain period of time when the song was new then were never played again and everyone forgot about them or never payed attention to them. another thing to note is that SO MANY canadian acts never get heard outside of canadas borders.
