Even though these characters belong in a game's fictional world, the KDA cosmetic line is set in our world. In the comics, they are talking about their performance in Shanghai (It was the World Championship of the game).
Ahri was a popstar that became independent to make the songs she wants to perform.
Evelynn is a diva who has high standards when performing. She is also Ahri's long-time friend.
Kai'sa found dancing as a way to express herself. Her father travelled around the world and she struggled to make friends.
Akali was an underground rapper that went viral. She was brought into the group when she caught the attention of the girls.
You deserve more likes than this. 😊
The lyric of this song is actually about depression, the music is very happy and the video is sadness. That fox character name is Ahri. So its about Ahri's depression.
So
Soyeon's champion is Akali yeah (it's only Soyeon)
Evelynn (the claw girl) was represented by Madison Beer, Kim Petras & Bea Miller
Ahri (girl from this video, ninetailed fox) is represented by Twice, Miyeon, Annika Wells and Bekuh Boom (Mostly Miyeon)
Kai'sa (girl with jetpack thing) is represented by Wolftyla, Jaira Burns, Bekuh Boom & Aluna
I figured someone would explain it for you but here’s what I’ve gathered. Ahri was a pop star before kda and was very successful but she hated the concept she was forced to do. It was childlike and cutesy I think and I’m assuming she wanted to do a more elegant queen like vibe. She wanted to be herself and do things her way so she left a promising, safe, and successful career so she can reinvent herself. So she eventually formed kda and gave others the chance to be themselves with her. I guess the video was showing how she still deals with depression and how much she’s grown since then. The broken mirrors became slightly cracked mirrors by the end. Meaning that she still has cracks but she’s in a better place than she was then
Wow.... this is a lot deeper than I had originally thought. Thank you so much for this explanation!
But isn't it weird she is so sad now after achieving the breakout hit with K/DA popstars? why the video seems to be about how she is currently not feeling herself or still having some fears to face? Or is the song about her remembering how she felt in those days even if she doesn't anymore? I think she might have some deeper emotional struggle over something, loss of innocence? fear of letting those around her down?
@@VPSantiago there’s a newspaper that shows why she still feels this way. People calling kda a one hit wonder, being haters and stuff. I’m guessing that they’re still looking for ways to discredit her or just plain hating and she can’t escape it so she has to live with it. Which is why I assume the cracks are still there. It’s not alway perfect but it doesn’t have to be. I would assume your correct that it also places fears that she’s not good enough or she’s failing her members. Kinda deep for a concept video lol
@@KaylinJane no problem! It’s pretty deep and I only know the gist of it tbh. I’ve seen others break it down far better lol
@@lordbuhcheeks lol ya. I think that idea makes sense. I have anxiety and high-stress stuff in my work, so I related on that level
The character is Ahri (fox girl) Its about her emotional struggles before getting into success. Its a fighting song for those who disbelieve you, hated you and make you feel insecure about yourself and prove them and yourself that those negativity are wrong while she is growing and learning shes stay true to herself (why she keep looking back her old pictures) she was the same little girl that she is but much more stronger woman that shed became now. 😊 Recording artist can relate so does us normies! Well show them and ourselves what we made of!
Check out their song "More" from the same album. They really blew the budget on that one so worth a look
I LOVE that one, probably my fave off the album!!
There was a popstars song reference with her cage as she is realizing how far she has come from her past mistakes. She is the leader of K/DA and must be that example to her fellow members. It's emotional due to her hurt feelings. She is totally the opposite of Evelynn. This is Ahri's story.
Akali (Assasin) - Soyeon
Ahri (Mage/Assasin) - Miyeon
Evelynn (Assasin/Mage) - Madison Beer
Kai'sa (Marksman/Assasin) - Jaira Burns

Do you react to music videos from the 80's? If you do, here's a suggestion: Duran Duran--The Reflex. Please react to K/DA--More. Thanks!
