I also mentioned that I didn’t like that that happened and the ruts were maybe 2-3 inches deep. The other thing is this was in a parking lot it wasn’t a trail or something it’s a parking lot that’s probably rutted all the time. We also didn’t know it would be that wet until we had already driven in and had to keep moving to a drier spot to not get stuck otherwise we probably wouldn’t have gone in. The other issue was that it was so muddy those days that this was the driest place we could find where camping was allowed so we had to make do. I agree that it isn’t ideal but since it’s a parking lot it’s going to get smoothed back over by other vehicles in no time so it was our best option. Also multiple other people that appeared to be locals came in and left way more ruts than we did so there’s that.
Yea I get that we just want to make sure to always promote responsible recreation even though sometimes it’s not possible to leave absolutely no trace.
The~ epic vdieo-work,
Thank you!
Real bummer about the rain! Great video.
Thank you! We will have to go back again and hopefully we will get better weather next time.
16:21 it is cool 😂
I should have been more enthusiastic about that lol.
“Make sure to leave everything better than you found it.” 2 mins later leaves roots 6” deep in the middle of the desert 🤣
