I know a lot about food safety. IF a piece of seafood smells or tastes "off," that means IT'S OFF! Meaning expired, dead, past its safe eating point. That restaurant should not have cooked or served that! Keith was right not to eat the lobster from Red Lobster and the sushi from TGI Fridays is likely not sushi grade fish. Genuinely hope he was not ill after the TGI Fridays episode.
"sushi grade" isn't actually a thing in the US. It's unregulated and unreliable. All fish sold in the US could be considered "sushi grade" assuming it's a fish you would ever use for sushi.

I think whenever you get to-go from a dine in restaurant, it always sucks. Usually the only issue I've had while eating IN Cracker Barrel is overly salty potatoes. When I got it to-go, it was offensive how bad it was. So I think that's a majority of the problem. Favorite quotes: "We just went to chicken land, now we're in pizza hell" and "I just took a walk outside and I stared at a tree." 😂😂
Trying to think what could possibly be worse than TGIF sushi take out… maybe picking it up on the way to the airport, going through security, and then eating it three hours later room temperature on the plane and dealing with the food poisoning while in the air. Maybe.

@@kayligo it’s in the Keith Eats The Menu: Outback where they’re in a trailer and they dress up as different “Australian” characters lol…. They wouldn’t swallow it because it was spoiled and they even commented before tasting it that it had a gray tone to the color 😣

I was just surprised it wasn’t on here because it was similar to the red lobster tail that smelled of ammonia which a tell tale sign it’s bad… such a good episode though so I recommend! That and Olive Garden are up there with my favorites 🫶🏼

I absolutely love these, but it also makes me sad again how terrible that cracker barrel was to him. He and I both know that any random cracker barrel in the South East would be the quality he was remembering. He was right though, the quality shouldn't be worse the further they expand

Listen I’ve never watched the Dominos Eat the Menu and generally I’m not one to like be enraged by Keith not liking something on one of these but he came for my Dominos BBQ Bacon Chicken and now we’re fighting
As someone with a BF who works in a restaurant, just……come into the store if you want the food. The to-go orders are ALWAYS the lowest priority task in a kitchen. Always. Most of these restaurants opt into Uber ears or what have you to make a bit of extra sales and as an obligation. None of them WANT to be doing it. You’re also at the mercy of the driver too, the food quality might have been fine when it was made but you ended up being the 5th delivery spot and everything got tepid and in the food temp danger zone. That’s not on the restaurant
