- Happy Friday, y’all! As you might know by now, rocking out and improvising with other musicians has always been a big part of my journey in music. Opportunities to jam with talented artists like Beardyman get my energy flowing like nothing else. We wanted to bring y’all some more epic moments from our session in London last fall. Some art is so out there that it can have a similar affect to powerful psychedelic drugs. As in, it can radically alter your perspective of reality and make you think/feel things you might not be ready for. That's what the best art does in my humble opinion.

This video is criminally underrated, only 165k views in four months? I just watched this again, and again I got tears in my eyes in the end, from just pure awe and joy of watching these two talents combine.

That opening rhyme is the most incredible thing ever. He didn’t just rhyme words. He constructed an entire journey of good and evil and how this influences his life. All from a single word he didn’t previously know. Something special happened in that moment.

That last bit where Beardy takes over on the mic to bring the tempo down, and tunes in to Mack to end like that was utter class 👌🏻

I think it was in part because he could tell that Harry Mack would most likely come in off time if he brought the music back in, because he’d been a Capella for a decent amount of time, so it was Beardyman cleverly improvising and rescuing the situation

My guy has absolutely no stuff-ups or slips; its continuous flow, no errors... and at that speed, with the beat was challenging...He's literally constantly tapped in to the flow consciousness. this guy is by far the most talented word smith/ lyricist of the generation, probably greatest to ever do it (with regards to vocal ability, not musicality and production as that is acquired over time), cos i mean the levels are just too precise and never been done to this level I believe. I think 2nd track (when they said that) was ~138bpm, then last track was ~180bpm. You know Harry would go for 230bpm, but at some point he'd be spitting faster than our brains can keep up 😅
Turning on auto generated subtitles not only makes you realise how many lyrics go into each section and how insane this is to improvise and perform it live but you can watch Harry progressively bring the entire system to it's knees, with each section getting a higher BPM. "Lock It in" was the one for me in this one but that DnB was madness. And Beardyman..... I've been around since 'Kitchen Diaries' so I hope that says enough on that. Great video, "H Man".
