for a few reasons, the linkage runs parallel to the bores simplifying the throttle cable hook up, they look very similar to ford carbs of the time and they are very cheep. I also think its better that the throttle plates open opposite of each other rather than off to one side but that may make no difference. I considered using holleys or autolite/motorcraft 2100/2150s but decided to go with the DGES.
Very interesting! I guess IR fuel injection would work well too? It’s kinda like the old autolite in-line carb that is so rare. Very cool!
Yea it would be cool with two twin throttle bodys down the center or two of the tbi units Ford used on the Australian falcon with the inline 6

no i tapped them 1/4 npt and installed pipe plugs
