For a man to speak SO MUCH about LAW and importance of maintenance in ones life for any kind of real growth, I wish he would clarify what laws these are exactly. My mind automatically goes to the Torah of Moses. How do I honor Laws I'm unaware exist? Nevermind. I know I must broaden my search.
We believe Mr. Hall purposefully kept the exact definition of Universal Laws somewhat obscure, so that we can come to the conclusions on our own. That stated, he quite often spoke about the Law of Cause and Effect.

It's titled: "The Beatnik in All of Us: A Study in Defeatism" recorded March 6, 1963. This lecture still exists, but the audio tape has not been digitized. We do not have access to it, but you may want to contact the Philosophical Research Society (prs.org) and ask them.
Did Manly Hall actually support eugenics..? At around 50:25, he mentions that we have given primitive peoples "eugenics", and he said that that was very essential to them. I have been a fan of his work for a long time, but that would be very strange and sad to me if he actually supported something like eugenics. Any one know more about that? Would appreciate hearing people's thoughts. Thank you.
Interesting question. A quick search of our transcripts has him mentioning 'eugenics' several times, and always in the same sentence as hygiene. He may be referring to underdeveloped parts of the population that have more children than they can care for, as well as lacking in basic skills to keep existing children healthy. There's a lot of concern here for me. On the one hand, I understand mental and spiritual alignment w the universe and natural processes. On the other, and Hall admits that there is a systemic, that is, a socio-economic problem around 45 minutes, we need a systematic transformation of bvn ourbsocio economic structure. He says, in that 45min mark-ish, that after science and medicine comes the television, radio, and etc. And I couldn't help wonder if Manly held Capitalism as unquestionable, or an adequate advance, 'cause he seems to have some criticisms. Lol socialism. Anyone putting forth socialism as an answer to any problem should be dismissed immediately since socialism is based on theft and authoritarianism. And before you bash capitalism again, it’s important to know that capitalism is no longer being practiced in any nation anywhere in the world. Not saying they wouldn't help some people at all, but it's good to keep the context in how these were delivered, compared to what's being offered in modern times. His lectures are packed with immense amounts of wisdom which require considerable reflection from the student, as his lectures were intended, rather than increasing amounts of external distractions.
