Wow.. Just Wow.. With this your explanation, photoshop looks more easier and lovely to use. Thanks greatly once again. We would love to see more of recreating movie posters...
hey thanks for the explaining the difference between opacity and fill - this opens more options for me knowing what those tools can be used for - thanks again
Thx! That was helpful. For some reason I thought Fill lowered visibility of an effect from the edges toward the center of that effect. So your demo corrected that impression. I may have to experiment. But it still seems like the most usable value would be for applns like your text fx demo.
I read somewhere that when we clip an adjustment layer on top of a layer, when we reduce the opacity of the linked layer, the opacity of the adjustment layer too gets reduced. But if we reduce fill instead, the opacity of the adjustment layer remain unchanged. Is it true?
No, that's not accurate. A clipped adjustment layer takes its transparency information from the underlying layer. Whether you reduce with fill or opacity, the adjustment layer will also reduce.
What a fantastic tutorial. Thank you very much. Look forward to watching your other videos.
I am always amazed at how much I still need to learn. Not intimidated. Keep em coming. GREAT JOB! THANK YOU.
