VAR should be allowed to give yellows, caicedo shouldve been booked after they reviewed it yesterday, but they werent going to send him off for it. would also tell you to compare these two challenges side by side, romeros goes through the challenge, caicedo steps off upon making contact.
As an Arsenal fan, there's part of me that's actually glad Liverpool and Chelsea are doing well this season, and Slot and Maresca are doing well, because it has brought to light just how bad Arsenal's business in the summer was. Stevie wonder can see Arsenal need a high level LW, and a striker, to really take them to the level needed to win majors, and that was completely ignored, yet again. Arsenal are currently ranked 13th for open play chances created. Those kind of stats for a team that are supposed to be challenging for the league, is completely unacceptable. This is Arteta's first job, and he's making too many costly errors every season, which is preventing Arsenal from getting over the line. No trophy this season, he has to make way for an experienced manager, who has won at the highest level.
You are right, Arteta problem is he over think too much and eventually blundered. He could easily win this league last season even when City was at their best. City didn't stop arsenal from winning the league, Arteta stopped us. We got 4 points against City last season and had very good results against all the big teams. His gambling at times, misplacing players, try and error stuffs still prolonging him to win the league. There's no way one can tell me Liverpool and Chelsea got better squad than arsenal despite we lacking a killer striker. We scored the highest amount of goals next to City last season even though without that killer striker, and I believe we could still do the same this year if Arteta had not been on his trying different system and tactics all the times. Take for example we had odegaard out, and he turned the squad into an average squad immediately just for the lost of single player. I know all teams got their key players and odegaard is ours, but if you want to win titles, consider injures 100% and prepare for it, make every single players on the team to be competitive and not to keep the squad average if one player gets injured. He needs to up his coaching game or else he might get fire cuz the fans will demand his going.

I'm a bit torned about Chelsea situation. After the last season which was an absolute disaster for Chelsea, this season is their rebuilding season and this season they should focus on getting back to being a top side which Enzo Maresca is doing very well. But having said that, if we are comparing Chelsea with other top teams, none of them got the squad depth like Chelsea have. We already saw what's happening with Man City and we saw how Arsenal crumbled because of not having proper backups to deal with the injuries. Chelsea is in a very good place and can rotate the squad properly because of their squad depth which is why one can put them in the title run.

But imo, many underestimated the scheduling of this new season and didn't recruit enough backup options for rotation and because of this many big teams are suffering now with injury problems. As an Arsenal fan, there's part of me that's actually glad Liverpool and Chelsea are doing well this season, and Slot and Maresca are doing well, because it has brought to light just how bad Arsenal's business in the summer was. Stevie wonder can see Arsenal need a high level LW, and a striker, to really take them to the level needed to win majors, and that was completely ignored, yet again. Arsenal are currently ranked 13th for open play chances created. Those kind of stats for a team that are supposed to be challenging for the league, is completely unacceptable. This is Arteta's first job, and he's making too many costly errors every season, which is preventing Arsenal from getting over the line. No trophy this season, he has to make way for an experienced manager, who has won at the highest level.
You are right, Arteta problem is he over think too much and eventually blundered. He could easily win this league last season even when City was at their best. City didn't stop arsenal from winning the league, Arteta stopped us.
We got 4 points against City last season and had very good results against all the big teams. His gambling at times, misplacing players, try and error stuffs still prolonging him to win the league. There's no way one can tell me Liverpool and Chelsea got better squad than arsenal despite we lacking a killer striker. We scored the highest amount of goals next to City last season even though without that killer striker, and I believe we could still do the same this year if Arteta had not been on his trying different system and tactics all the times. Take for example we had odegaard out, and he turned the squad into an average squad immediately just for the lost of single player.
I know all teams got their key players and odegaard is ours, but if you want to win titles, consider injures 100% and prepare for it, make every single players on the team to be competitive and not to keep the squad average if one player gets injured. He needs to up his coaching game or else he might get fire cuz the fans will demand his going.

After the last season which was an absolute disaster for Chelsea, this season is their rebuilding season and this season they should focus on getting back to being a top side which Enzo Maresca is doing very well.
But having said that, if we are comparing Chelsea with other top teams, none of them got the squad depth like Chelsea have. We already saw what's happening with Man City and we saw how Arsenal crumbled because of not having proper backups to deal with the injuries. Chelsea is in a very good place and can rotate the squad properly because of their squad depth which is why one can put them in the title run.
