@@GameHistoryyI wouldn’t say that exactly. Yes taste dose play in here someone might prefer Atari games over PS5 games that’s ok but some stuff have to do with the time as well. Take for example the gameplay. A lot of old games are very very hard (seriously the easiest nes game is a lot harder than cuphead) that’s not because of taste. It was a trick to make the player spend more time with the game but now a lot of games aren’t as difficult heck some are genuinely easy that’s because gaming is no longer new and has become mainstream and Games generally can get longer than before. This is why some people prefer new games because it’s more accessible than old games while older players think that now games are too easy. And can you blame them when they grow up on broken NES games ?
