Myles Munro says 3-5 am,get up and pray,here it is midnight.Can you clarify please?I am in favour of midnight prayer because when the Israelites were in tents God visited them at midnight and there should not be any thing unholy in the tent,so they kept a rod in each tent,because if someone wants to pee or poo should go out and make a pit and use it.We are three hrs behind in India than now in Israel.Their 3 am is our 12 am.In my humble opinion we can approach the Mercy Seat of our God at any time.Please forgive and correct me if I am wrong ❤
Hi Jessy, from what i have learnt, there are 4 watches in the day and 4 watches in the night, 12am-3am is the 3rd watch of the night and 3am-6am is the 4th watch of the night. So generally it is believed that there is a higher spiritual traffic in the 3rd and 4th watch of the night, especially in the 4th watch
However we can definitly pray during any of the watches of the day (especially when you make it a pattern to pray a specific time every day, it translates or implies that you have created a prayer alter because you are there every day same time, and therefore this type of arrangement allows access to the spirit realm where God can begin to speak and show you mystries, not just to meet your personal needs)
Having said all this it appears keeping such prayer appointment in the 3rd or especially the 4th watch of the night produces quicker results due to the high spiritual traffic during this time.
Regarding your question about difference in timing, all you need to do is just to follow your own geographical timing because sun rise and sun set is different for different continents of the world.
As much as that is true, any time is allowed but not anytime is a gate
