    I've had a not-too-good experience with Exway Boards since I purchased the Atlas Pro 4WD. I created this video as a central hub for any other persons experiencing issues with Exway since Exway had no forums on their site where customers could express concerns. Please feel free to express your experience with Exway in the comment section. If a lot of people talk, If Exway cares about customer service, they would try their best to give the E-vehicle community a better experience.

    You nailed it Michael. your review is right on the money. I've just order my exway 2wd. and their customer service is cold. you have to wait so many hours, (or days) to hear a response. that's not the american way when it comes to customer support. in my opinion so far (when i have not recieve the product), their customer support is poor. please keep your videos coming...

      Thank you. Your best bet is to come to this video after you send Exway an email. You'll get much more faster responses from us in the comment section. I really hope Exway get's better with the customer service. A lot of people are buying this board. We need to feel like Exway has our backs.

    Saw you're video 5 months ago. Really wanted to get the Exway atlas pro 2wd but after seeing many bad reviews i kinda thought about waiting for this charger issue to be solved. Its been a while now, and i have started seeing some positive reviews, its really a 50/50 on your luck with this company. Anyways took the risk and just ordered this board like 10min ago.
    Damn i hope everything goes well.

    1 month laterr with the Exway Atlas pro 2WD. Nope i have had no issues with the board or charger, the app works normally and the board is perfect. (FOR NOW)

      Smart move. Let them fix the issues we had at launch. If I were you, I would get the supercharger. You might be disappointed with the 210-watt GaN charger. If you start off with that charger, you'll have a better experience with the Atlas Pro. It really is a magic carpet once fine-tuned.

      ​@@SAMLYCASLY September? Damn! The price we pay for our hobbies. lol. I brought mine with me today and still going strong. Did you do the new firmware update that Exway sent to the E-skate App? I didn't upgrade yet. The last time I upgraded it killed one of the ESCs. They take too damn long to send parts when I need them. I have to buy spare parts ahead of time, like tubes, wheels, belts, and backup remote control. I almost lost mine in the sewer last week. Get the 7" wheels if you can. They're the best for all terrains.

      @@MichaelHurdleStudio Board hasn’t arrived yet, hopefully Exway will update the firmware for me, that way we can avoid any possible issues with the ESC. The board should arrive in 10/25 business days according to Exway but in the FAQ, based on where I’m from it should like around 40/60 days damn. I did pay for the shipment so it shouldn’t take too long to arrive. Anyways I’m not a big fan of all terrain or going off road so Im just going to stick with 105/75mm wheels for that nice amount of range, and the thought of charging the board from 0% to 100% in less than an hour is “Mental.”
      Just wanna say thanks again for your amazing support and quick response to my comments. Glad your board is running nicely. Il keep this comment updated on anything that happens so other future buyers will have the information they are looking for.

    I'm right here with you, brother. You're *not* the only one having this experience with Exway. Same thing's happening to me.
    No warning for 2 weeks that items are out of stock, I had to reach out proactively.
    Defective AUXPack, needed a warranty replacement.
    Defective GaN charger (got 3 charges out of it and it died), waiting for a warranty replacement + refund for 1000W charger because of design defects with GaN charger.
    That said, the Atlas Pro 4WD Gear is a freaking magic carpet (when it actually runs).
    I just WISH Evolve (or someone else) would start building a board with 4WD gear drives and a mega huge battery expansion (hint-hint). If so, I'd have chosen another company over Exway in a heartbeat.

      Damn! Exway really need to work on a few things and they would be golden. Don't you think Exway would save so much money by including the 1000 Watt charger with the Atlas Pro? No one would complain about the 210-watt charger failing on them. You're not kidding when you say magic carpet. Now that I'm not having those issues so far, the board became one of the best boards I've ever owned. I hear you when it comes to having a company that's here in the U.S and has good parts. Exway better watch out if someone starts that.

    Damn i have same problem 😂 definitely should have googled exway atlas problems.
    Just emailed them, waiting for a reply.
    Its bs though, we pay this much for a faulty product :(
    I feel robbed, this is my first eboard :/

      Damn! you too? Exway got to fix this issue now. I wish I had the power to fix this issue. The board is a pretty good board, but the charger issues might hurt them in the long run if they don't fix it. Plus you paid so much money for this board. No body want's that.

    So I literally got my Atlas Pro 2WD yesterday. Paired it with the app, and went on a little trip. Came with 3 battery bars and I got back home after a 6 mile joyride with 2 bars and figured I'd throw it on the charger. Plugged it in and checked on it maybe 30-45 minutes later and noticed the LED was blinking red/green and hot to the touch. I immediately found your channel and videos. Honestly, I'm super disappointed at the fact that Exway has known about this issue going on nearly a year now, and still hasn't remedied this issue from the factory.

      Sorry to hear that man. Why is this still happening Exway? What did Exway do about your issue? Please tell me that they are sending you out another charger. How to you feel about the 1000-watt super charger? It will change the game. Try to get a discount for the super charger. It's the least they can do for you. Let me know how it went.

    I'm in the same boat, I got a Flex Pro about a month ago (after a month of waiting), and my charger croaked recently too. I reached out to Exway about the charger, and they quickly replied and offered to send an old, classic (non-GaN) charger as a replacement.
    Besides the very poor English, the support person replied quickly and was nice. Just need to wait another week or two on the charger now I guess, hopefully it doesn't break on me though!

    I was literally finally about to check out and buy the Atlas 4wd. I am a woman and have little experience with eboards and skateboards and have researched for the past two days and thought I was finally ready to buy from exway right now. What stopped me was that I wanted to learn more about the eboard handles, and this video popped up lol. Now, I believe that I will just buy from Evolve. Let me watch your other videos to see if exway fixed your problem

    I just got the Exway Flex Pro...charged it once, then it stopped working. I just emailed Exway hoping they get back to me soon. It's definitely disappointing seeing this happen to a brand new board. I would stay away from Exway products if I had the chance to do it over, and recommend others to purchase another brand.

      I thought by now Exway would have this issue already worked out. I feel bad that new board owners are dealing with this. I really hope Exway fixes this before the summer. No one wants to deal with these issues on a new board. Keep us posted.

    Just got an atles pro 2w gear drive on the 4/12/2023 and one motor failed don’t know what to do email them need a replacement just got it

    Hey Michael, thanks for a great video! My Atlas Pro arrived two days ago. I was only able to charge it twice. Now the light on the charger stays green even when plugged into the board. Plus, I don't know if I'm the only one having this issue, but I'm really concerned about the board's isolation. The thing is, when I step on a deck of the board or apply pressure on it, I can hear air flowing from the bottom of the board. And where the air gets, the water gets too. Could you please check if your board does the same? I wasn't able to find anything about this, so I don't know whether this is normal or not. I hope your board already runs well!

      You are more than welcome. No way your charger has died already. What the hell Exway? The light staying green means that your charger overheated and died. As far as the air flowing out of the back of the board, Did you check the tire pressure? See if all of the deck screws are secured nice and tight. Where exactly are you hearing the air coming from? there should be no place for air to flow like that except for a bad tire or innertube. Try rotating the tires and see if the air sound moves to another part of the board. I got my Atlas Pro with some wobbly tires out of the box. That's why I brought the 175mm wheels. Having a board with issues right out of the box was just upsetting.

    I was just about to order an FLex Pro, then I saw yesterday the video from OMN1PRESENCE about his issue with his board. Now I see yours.... I live in the Reunion Island. It's very difficult to get electric skate here. It must be send in France, then send to the REunion ( french island in the Indian Ocean ) by a special transporter. It takes time and money. If the board arrive and don't work, it's gonna be very shi...y. Thank you so much to let me know about your issues. I'm not gonna buy this board then, I think I'm going Evolve, lot more expensive, but it seems lot more reliable. That's what I expect, being confident of my purchase, and having fun, not troubles. Thanks to you.

      Smart move bro. I don't blame you. Since I Got this board, I've had nothing but issues. Just so you'll know, it takes forever for a part to get to me from Exway, so I know you'll have a really hard time with that. I don't even own an Evolve board, but I'm going to say you'll be happier with them. I guess since this video came out, Exway has been getting back to me really fast, so I'm assuming they watched my videos. I really didn't want to make a video like this to get Exway's attention, but people have to know before they buy. Not all of us have money to throw away. I'm so glad I saved you a long headache. Let me know what you decided to get in the future. I wasn't going to do a review on the Atlas Pro, but now I feel like it's my duty to create a video review on Exway. They should make me an ambassador. I'll help keep them on their feet when they start slipping.

    ⚡🤙🏼 *Ambassadors are great Adverts to highlight features of a board* 🤙🏼⚡
    but for reliability and problem-solving experiences it is better to speak to regular riders before buyin a board... online and group rides.
    That's why esk8 communities are great, and I encourage people to stay active in talkin to other riders, around the world, regularly, not just when buyin a board, that way you know who knows what, who speaks openly and honestly, etc, and who is caught up in excitement havin not experienced an issue and therfore not a good source of info for when things go wrong.
    Hopefully this video makes them address the issue/s, videos like this are vital to hold companies accountable, so thank you for sharin this 👏🏼
    ps, I've read of too many bad experiences when people update their Exway firmware so many of us tell riders not to update their Exway unless they absolutely need to.

      So true. Pure facts. Since this board is so new, I swore all this starting happening after the latest update. Let's see if that charger works. I highly doubt it. I think it's more than the charger. The charger is scheduled to se delivered Jan 15th 2023. If that does not work, I think I'm not going to be able to ride this board for months. I'll keep everyone posted.

      @@MichaelHurdleStudio My friend got sent a replacement ESC, he had to replace it himself.
      Evolve, parts & electronics wise it seems overpriced but essentially you are payin a for the service centres around the world. I would say for many people it's worth the extra money, peace of mind with havin a service centre nearby. Personally I'm not a big Evolve fan but I understand why many buy one - local support is a huge factor.

      @@MichaelHurdleStudio Free ESC, not sure if he had to pay for shipping - seems to be a thing with the esk8 brands based in China, they often make people pay for shipping for "free" replacement parts, though not always.

People are coming to my channel asking if they should buy from Exway. i tell them they have good boards, but when they see the comments like yours, it turns them away, Espespecially when Exway hasn't made a video addressing this matter.     Yeah I had the same problem with the charger light staying green even tho the board is close to dead right now. I’ve not been able to get the app to work either, won’t connect, but I’m still able to ride in all 4 gears and tank mode works. It is the holidays right now so I’m kinda understanding, but hopefully by the 2nd I’ll be able to get in touch with them for another charger. I’ve always had problems with new boards and figured maybe it was just backfire, but every board I get has it’s own issue which is why I’m happy about warranty’s. You’ll see my own review in the next few days… stay awesome and don’t stress, you’ll be back and riding again in no time. Btw, if you’re in 4wd you’ll literally only get the same range as every other board. Mine ran out before my buddies evolve today.

    Yeah that lack of community with the company hits hard. I’ve been trying to get an electric skateboard for a while and right now the deal breaker for me is the customer service. I’ve been seeing really unresponsive and unreliable customer service from a lot of these new and cheap eskating companies (backfire, Wowgo, Meepo, Exway) by other ppls experiences and now I’m feeling deterred from getting a board cuz I don’t wanna get screwed over by the company if the thing gets damaged in any way.

      I 100% agree with you. Customer service is one of the most important things to me. It makes me feel like I've made a good choice with the company. I really miss Boosted. I know they would have made a dope A.T board if they were still around.

      KLEAVE, Don't let it stop you from getting into the sport. I have a Meepo V3 that also took forever to get but I have had no problems with the board. It really is so fun to ride.

    I purchased a flex pro right when they released, I loved the ride and power, but the chargers broke or straight burned out. I'm on my 4th Charger and it just stopped working. They seriously need to fix this charging Issue, the GAN 210w Chargers are unstable and break far too easily. I have been looking for lower-wattage chargers or adapters since this board has a proprietary connector.

      I really wish that Exway would fix this issue. I would like to speak to the CEO of Exway and ask him why is this happening. I have two dead 210 watt chargers. Since I've gotten the 1000 watt super charger, I've been having nothing but fun with the Atlas Pro. Who knows, one day I might get through to the CEO of Exway.     I had shipping issues with them as well....... but they refunded a mishandled package that was unfortunately my NASA edition i can't get anymore, but they were generally pretty helpful and responsive.
    Give these guys some slack people....Things are not OK in China and we are lucky to be able to even order these items right now.
    Board is dope AF.

    My charger stopped working after 1 charge. 2 of my wheels have a little wobble. At this point I'm not feeling comfortable with there quality. Had more then enough power to pull hard uphill though.

      Mine came out of the box with wobbles, that's why I switched the tires to the 175mm, They still have a little wobble, but nowhere near the wobble, I got from the 160mm. Do you have the 210-watt charger? Your life would be so much better with the 1000-watt charger. Exway should just start shipping the Atlas Pro with the supercharger. It'll save them money in the long run. If they send out three 210-watt chargers, it will cost the same price as the supercharger.

      The said that they are sending me a new charger in the mail. ETA Jan 30th 2023. That's mad long to wait for a charger. Damn Exway, I was hoping we would start the new Year off right but I guess I was wrong.

    I got my atlas pro 2 days ago, it didn’t connect to the app. Therefor it was stuck in safe mode. (Still rode it lol) rode it for 30 miles on safe mode. I tried 5 different phones. Tried the old version of the app. Finally got it connected to the old app. But I couldn’t do anything with it besides see the battery life. I’ve been waiting on a response from exway considering they’re closed for new years. I got desperate and tried my very old galaxy note and sure enough it actually worked. Got it fully unlocked. Not 30 min later I got a response from exway. Seemed like a personal message but they just suggested something I did 2 days ago. Great board, but I would have been very disappointed if I hadn’t managed to do it myself

      And yes the charger gets super hot. All In all as long as the board continues to work from here. I’ll be obsessed. The thing is so fast it’s not even funny, range is great, good looking accessories. But the taste being left is certainly unpleasant thus far. Hopeful. But unpleasant

    Bro those wheels wobble like crazy, completely unbalanced. I bought two, one for my wife and one for myself. My wife’s was perfect, the 🛞 on mine wobbled so bad it’s unsafe. I emailed after sales support and they didn’t care. I’ve seen other people on the Exway Facebook group saying their charger does what your does. IMO the wires are wrong in those chargers. Much love 🤙🏻

      The same thing happened to me. That charger is completely dead bro. You'll have to wait for the new charger. Check out this video where I opened the charger to see what's inside. ua-cam.com/users/shortsCQSbK3h0hW8?feature=share If I were you I would keep a heat sync on the new charger, or a small fan near the charger while you charge so that it can keep the charger cool for those long 4 and a half hours it takes to charge. See if they can give you a discount on the supercharger. It's a game-changer. I wish we had an electric skateboard company located here in the united states. I miss Boosted. You take a high-risk buying product overseas. When stuff like this happens, it makes your experience sour.

      They got back to me pretty quick:
      "Actually,we have also noticed this situation of the GaN 210 Watt hour charger,and we start an urgent claim and discuss this with the supplier asap,now we have already figure out some temporary solution of the issue,here I am offering it to you "
      They're sending me the prior version of the charger. It will charge a hair slower but probably a matter of minutes and should last longer :)
      Now to fix this weird vibrating issue im encountering once i hit 25mph...

    You should check out the Meepo Voyager. It’s closer to your old board style but with insane power ⚡️
    Sorry exway sucks Meepo has a good warranty and responds within a couple hours for me at least. My issue is I didn’t buy the board with them BUT they still give me advice etc

    So my normal Flex battery died and ordered a flex er it wasnt on stock so I paid more for the pro I charged it up once successfully and left the charger pluged in the sockets as usually like ive did for over a year with the fast charger.
    So I was sitting here gaming in the evening and the charger zwisched like crazy and 2 seconds later it poped loud like a transistor inside exploded and popped my fuse from my room so now im sitting here without a working charger even tho i have the old and fastcharger but there is no cable/connector so I can use the old chargers.
    Is there any third party chargers for the flex pro or a adapter which is proven working?

      Damn! Why am I hearing stories like this? I wonder why this is happening? Did you contact Exway? What did they say? I hope that's covered by the warranty. I really don't think they have a better charger. I believe this is only happening to customers outside of china. I guess they didn't think about the difference in power regarding DC and AC voltage.

      @@MichaelHurdleStudio Exway wrote me back asap but cant offer me anything else as the GaN charger as replacement but they told me that they already know that they can explode and the
      GaN charger will get fixxed and there will be new ones in a month
      Which is a really big bummer to me I had a normal Flex and wanted the ER first so I can use my 2 remotes and fast charger with all the other stuff I bought for the normal Flex and now Ive got the Pro and nothing works out fine :( I just lost all my old stuff and the new stuff

      ​@@xDakos That's horrible. Why is this happening with these chargers? It's hard to promote Exway when people are having charger issues. Exway should make a video addressing this issue. It's happening way too much now. It's all cool when the charger dies, but it can get really real when that same charger burns up your house. That's why I never leave the room when I charge my Atlas Pro. I have the super charger and it takes about 30 - 40 mins to get a full charge. I sit there just incase something goes sideways. Now you lost your old and new stuff. Now what will Exway do? Keep me post my dude.

    Bro I had the same problem they said I would receive my skateboard mid-January. I contacted them February 1 and they said they were out of the board and I had to switch from x1 riot to x1 hub. So after I decided to add the quick charger for it because they said that they were out of the hydro tires. So finally got the board Feb 8. I opened the mail and read flex pro. So I'm like “ yo, did they really send me a flex pro” so I opened the second box, and there it was; a flex pro. They sent me the wrong skateboard. I didn't tell them cuz its worth a lot more than what I actually spent😂 And it even came with Hydro wheels they said they were out of.

      Damn, bro. Wow! What's going on with Exway these days? I can't order anything from their site. They told me to go to the US version of Exway to place my order. Everything is out of stock on the US version of Exway. I really need a battery for the Atlas Pro and I can't get one. I'm so upset.

      Really? Do you have the Atlas pro or something else? Did you let Exway know? It's going to be a few weeks wait depending where you live. I waited close to 18 days from the day they shipped it. Let them know sooner than later. We only have 6 months warranty on that board. I'm using it now while I have it. Who knows how Exway would act when the warranty is up. Those parts are expensive. Keep me posted bro.

    Exway sounds like DJI . I bought the new Avata and it worked fantastic out of the box , then I did the first update screwed it up now
    I have to plug my phone to the goggles or it won't even take off and my new super light weight goggles have to have the added weight
    of my phone and two separate cables pugged into them . Did I mention I hate the FAA Aholes . Good luck with your board and I can't
    wait to see what kind of new BULLSHIT the FAA will pile on all drone owners . Oh yea , , , you have a blessed and Happy New Year my

      Thank you for the kind words. It seems like customer service is dead in this time zone. That's one of the many reasons why I stopped flying drones. DJI got way too big for their bridges.       Damn, still? I thought Exway fixed this issue. If I were you, I'd send them an email ASAP. Depending on where you live, it might take up to three weeks before you even see that replacement charger. Sorry that you have to look at the board for three weeks before you can ride it again. I went through the same thing a few months back. I was pissed.

I even sent them an email before I received my board asking them if they had figured out the problem. I sent them an email immediately. I'm hoping I don't have to make a video to get something done. I told her that I sent two emails, one to the service email and then the after sales email, so she wants to make sure that they don't send me two. I think I am going to demand the 1000w charger. Did you end up having to buy the one you have? I saw Mosh man had received three that didn't work. It takes about 24 hrs to get a response as they are on the other shift.I know you would homie. I hope you get a full refund and go with a different brand I gotta be Honest Ownboard the company I got the Zeus pro off they can be a little robotic but at least they are on whatzap that texting app. They get back to me within two days, or sometimes, even like 2 hours later, I can email you some of my responses. If you want, you can see what they are like. The hadean is expensive buddy it wouldn't hurt to look at a Zeus Pro or Evolve. I have cloud rovers on my zeus Pro legit. I don't even notice a difference in range. Sorry for the long-winded comment. I just figured I would give you my own take. I got the Zeus Pro because my series 1 GTR left me wanting more range and power. Also, I did not want to pay Hadean prices. I can honestly say that after just changing wheels yesterday and testing it after a few months left in the closet it's reliable for me. I even flew it out to the mountains of alberta had it shipped and man wicked times. I'm looking forward to your video and sorry about your bad luck, mate. (ZEUS Pro around 2300 km)
