Honestly was a really cool and interesting idea to make a dragon based on mixing members of the Jade Winglet! I hope this could turn into something like the hybrid challenge with people having their own spins on what they think the characters' children would look like! Maybe even doing it with different characters like separated by arcs or something. I don't know. I just think it's a really cool concept!
Whenever I do the hybrid challenge, I take the first tribe I get from the spinner and use it as the mother tribe, then use the second one as the father tribe, since hybrid dragons always take more after their mothers. Thought sharing this would give you an excuse draw this series out a little longer and to make more hybrids for the Jade Winglet, have some variation in the dragonets. You could of course also do the other winglets- ooh, how about making hybrids across all five winglets? I use a spinner wheel to pick my dragons, much easier than trying to remember what number a tribe is, and it lets you hide options you don’t want.
I really like this idea of fusions/dragonets. I've really only seen it to this extent in the WC fandom, glad to see WOF hypodragonets getting appreciation!
Just realized that I've gone all this time thinking Nightwings breathe purple fire, only to check the book and realize that intro page says nothing on it...
@@autumnhthefoxgamer123no that’s their wing pattern. They breathe normal-looking fire, but have a night sky pattern on their wings. It would be so cool if they had purple, green, or black/white fire, though! 🩷
Great content as always with these! The books tend to more support the theory that a hybrid's mother has the dominant genes (think of Sunny, Typhoon, Darkstalker, etc.) but these are way more interesting in my opinion. Can't wait for Winterwatcher, since that's my favorite ship in the whole series.
Yeah, but she wasn’t a major character and it was just for a small part of that book(plus she kind of annoyed me), so I’d be fine with kicking her out and replacing her with Moon and Qibli’s dragonet

I am forever fazed by the fact that i have been calling Qibli "Quibli" and then thinking you were pronouncing his name wrong. The name Qibli is forever stained on my heart, pronounced "Quibli".
I used to do that too until I searched how to pronounce Qibli and a video said it the way she did, so now I say it like that. However, a lot of people say it other ways, and Qwib-lee is one of the ones I’ve heard most commonly
I’ve already made twin dragonets named Dusk and Dawn from Moon and Qibli on DragonSheep’s WOF character maker a while back but I’m still super excited to see this!! #Moonbli4Life
These characters are so creative! I can’t even come up with an idea for my own hybrids, the sad part is that I don’t have Instagram and I really wanted Cereus 😅 Again, really good job on designing these characters!

Omg k so this is how it goes: ( winter x turtle ship) Turtle comes to hangout with qibli one night, when winters still at jade mountain, but whatever he mudwings name was is gone. Qibli has to leave to check on something, and turtle and winter get to chatting. Winter eventually makes a joke like ‘ well would you like to see my tiaras? ‘ because they were talking about being royalty neglected for their sisters. Turtle erupts in laughter and soon winter joins in. But then qibli comes in, and winter comes to his senses, making himself regal and icy once more. Turtle is disheartened that winter wouldn’t want others too know that he’s friends with him, turtles insecurity making him think that he’s the problem, the one not good enough for winter. But turtle sees the glance winter spared at him, that little ‘ I want to do that again.’ Turtle brushes it off, thinking he probably misinterpreted it. These sort of situations happen more frequently, until eventually turtle get confrontational. He corners winter one day as basically says: ‘ if you want us to keep being friends you can’t keep hiding it. I don’t know if it’s your insecurity’s about people judging you for being a nice guy, or if I’m not good enough for you, but you need to either let go of your pride and admit to actually liking me as a dragon, or we can’t hangout anymore.’ Then, in a softer tone: ‘I can’t keep slipping away in the dark to go talk. Privacy is nice but.. I don’t want to be a secret.’ He glances at winter. Turtle was already sorta getting feelings, even if he thought it was just that winter was his really close friend. ‘I want to be able to brush wings with you, and laugh with you, and eat our prey in the prey center together.’ At this point, winter is thinking ‘OH SHIT, he can bully me, that’s so fucking hot, and also he cares about me as a person and wants to be with me? I’m a tortured, lonely, icy, emo prince, and he cares about me? HES SO FUCKING HOT OMG!’ And then they are gay and have lots of little babies. The end! 😂❤ GET ME TO 25 LIKES IF YOU WANT A PART 2 LOL! 😊😂❤
