R.I.P. Larrivee Guitars Ltd., Canada, December 2013....
I was part of the Larrivee Guitars' crew in Vancouver Canada from September 1998 until March 2008. One aspect of my job was showing visitors through the Larrivee factory. For many, learning how their guitar was made helped make it that much more of a cherished possession. The people seen in this video series are the folks who made the Larrivee parlor guitar found on the International Space Station.

i bought a larrivee d-02 and was wondering about its
3 piece neck they didn't have any d-03's which has
a one piece neck.my intention when i went to L&M
was to buy a Martin D-16gt but when i played the
Larrivee i was sold.these guitars are handmade in
canada and usa and are as good if not better than
Martin. a $1200 larrivee has same specs as a
$2500 martin. you have to play a larrivee to know
what i'm talking about

i have a question...
how often do they hire people they have to train at the larrivee manufacturing factory? (or do they only hire people experienced in making guitars?)
