It is always worth the time to jump onto Justine's magical mystery tour. You never know what you'll get, but you're always happy with what you got. Can't ask for much more than that. Well you can, but it just starts to get creepy at that point. Enjoyed the lockdown update and philosophy conveyed by the sage words of Justine Stafford.
let me pitch this one last time: a comedy show about irish girlfriends moving to america, and opening up a shop. bless. there's a power to being no one, you can take everyone by surprise, they'll never see you coming
We've missed you and are glad to see your smiling face. More importantly, it's great to hear your no holds barred approach in talking about mental health. If you make it back to the US and find yourself near Baltimore, Maryland, I can get you comedy gigs, possibly auditions/cast calls (a lot is filmed in Baltimore), and even a couch to crash on (my wife and I host a decent amount of musicians). Cheers!
Justine, you should come to America, plenty of Comedy circuits and clubs are open now in the big cities. We also adore foreign born comedians for their take on the U.S. and their memories about their homeland. I think you have plenty of material and who knows you might get a acting gig here or there. Food for thought. 🙂👍
US is starting to open up to travellers who are vaccinated. Every comedian that I knew had to have a therapist in their careers. Well Irish girls are always popular especially the ones with sense of humour 😎😂❤️❤️❤️😂😎.
One important thing I learned during the plague is that I'm more of a people person than I ever realized. Netflix bored me early on- binging on UA-cam so I could watch real people like you just living made me feel like I was with people again.
She's back! It may have been a while but it was worth it for that smile! Justscreen Stafford, I love it! Air Guitar socks, made me giggle too! And I needed that today.
Justine I wanted to let you know your fans love your videos and are here to support you. My middle daughter who is 20 years old has Histrionic Borderline Personality disorder. I do indeed know the struggles that a person goes through when they are diagnosed with this. Finding middle ground on your high days and low days is hard, but surround yourself with people that love and support you. I found you and the Try Channel on the "Drinks around the world video" at Disney a few years ago. Keep your chin up and rock on.
There sure have been some trying times in the last 18 months. One thing all the free time gave me was I found the Try channel, and I love watching it. Justine, you're my favorite. I love your sense of humor.
That’s funny Justine that’s when I stumbled across you Try people, my people LOL you were at Disney and it was the cheese cake factory episode I laughed my ass off and fell in love with all you guys! A lot of things you say ring true for me too I’m an older woman but this pandemic has affected us all I send much love! 💕💕WV🇺🇸
Hello Justine from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Tourism has opened up here full swing. Limo driver, getting lots of shifts. Casinos are doing well. I love your short skits. I hope work is always coming your way. Stay safe.
There are no mental health issues amongst the Irish. Not while there is a supply of Bushmills* or Guinness :) * Or Middleton if you’re feeling extravagant :)
Kudos for doing the DBT. I know a few actors and theater people, though probably without much actual influence. But maybe one day someone will say, "Do you know of any hilarious Irish women?" and you'll be on my radar. Keep doing videos and Try channel stuff, it's how we all find you. :)
Jesus, how lovely to see you back Justine, I've had a lot of isolation due to lockdown and enforced working from home, how lovely to see you still smiling and working through real stuff
You personally helped me get thru all this, not that its over. I am still isolating fully vaccinated because I am older and have a bad heart. Even a break thru could kill me. If it had not been for the try channel, and a few of you I just absolutely love not sure what it would have been like. You are freaking hysterical, and real all at the same time. Every day I pick a play list off the channel and its the background music to my life of cleaning and playing with my kitties. Knowing what an amazing time you had in Florida made my year.
I'm driven to write lyrics / songs and I can sing and record them, which is gratifying, but you really need to be able to perform on stage and that so terrifies me it stops me from writing, that fear of failure of not adding up or just not being good enough, obviously roots in childhood, but I am old enough and ugly enough to know better! You'd think. All the best Justine x
A great video! You’ve been missed Justine, but your short mini clips have helped fill the gap. I can’t help wondering whether some of the self realization that came from the pandemic would have come at this time in your life anyway! Hard to say. 1-Value yourself and what you have to offer. You are a powerful source of creativity and originality. 2-Every person has anxiety in life, especially performers in a life setting I’ve been in 50 plays, in front of thousands of people. Every audience is different and whenever I made an entrance whether it was for a time part or a major lead carrying the show that first entrance from behind the flats was like jumping out of the door of a plane. But the adrenaline rush was always worth it. 3-As a modern woman in comedy you really don’t know who your bravery is giving hope to. Not everyone feels comfortable interacting like some of your fans. I’m sure there are young women watching you going, “Holy … cow! I can’t believe she did that or said that.” In your own way, you are a pioneer in this new world of internet sketch comedy. Have confidence that your point of view is unique. One place you might want to consider taking lessons when you get to the US is Second City Comedy School either in Chicago or Canada. 2nd City in Chicago produced many of the big names on Saturday Night Live and many sit coms. The improvisational skills they teach translate directly to stand up. 4- You haven’t entirely left us in the lurch. Your appearances on the Try channel have been massively refreshing. This last one on the alcohol roulette was incredibly funny. Massive laughs. That was one of their funniest overall. It always gives me the feeling that you are spending time with some pretty great people and that reflects well on you all. 5- One of the hardest things in tough times is to stay confident when it can feel like everything is going to hell. But strength comes from learning how to endure difficult times, especially for someone who does so well interacting with others. But you learned a lot by learning about how you do well in hard times an in a period of isolation. Think of it as your chrysalis stage, in the cocoon becoming a butterfly. You are different in all the good ways. While you can’t truly know your fans who you don’t truly meet day to day, you are developing a base that is real. You have developed a lot of good will over the past two years especially. Use that as an internal power source. 6- Every audience teaches you something. As you do more stand up and live performing and gain confidence in that skill your ability to listen to and adapt to what you hear from audiences will teach you a lot. Good luck and keep on keeping on. I hope you get to Chicago one day soon. Oh and the Try channel in America was legendary. Peace!.
Well, if you make it to the states, Denver, Colorado had a comedy circuit and Colorado Springs, Colorado has a small one but maybe starting small will work best and get you some contacts and stuff. Nice to see you and know that you are still laughing at the world. Hugs.
you’d have lots of people to ask for suggestions or help here in the US - and you learned during lockdown that Guinness with the widget can get you by - you can find a proper pint poured correctly but they are few and far between
Your self-awareness is outstanding considering your current (pandemic) situation. Know that your appreciated for your humor and insight into your own foibles and fears. You are a fantastic human being. Keep being you girl!
You are clearly wise beyond your years, Justine! Thanks for posting this; it's a good reminder that I too have learned many of the same things! Keep up the positivity and good things will come your way.
Nice to see a new clip--actually more mature perspective on the pandemic impact. Re, giving it a go in USA, you may not know people personally, but you do have a loyal fan base. They could help you with the transition across the pond, help defray some of the costs, whatever. Since US is starting to open as well, I would expect that comedy shows will do well since people are so hungry for that kind of interaction--and to have a serious laugh after so a long strange trip know as Covid.
just consider - - - a travel trip to America, the Pacific Northwest .landing in Seattle or Portland, Oregon . . .ocean, deep forest, 2 major cities and scenery equal to what the world has to offer . . .just consider . . .I know a few people in Portland who are connected with local theater & music . . .helping to facilitate a trip you make would be so satisfying :)
Creativity is an outlet for me as well. A few of my friends and I have been creating improv comedy skits. Cheers and continue on-many understand and laugh along with you!
I want to try to convince you to come to Canada instead!, but, the States have a better stand up circuit than we do (according to Norm MacDonald (RIP)). *go to Boston! My favourite State down there! Very Irish kinda town, you’ll love it!
Ah, nice to see you back on UA-cam again Justine, it does brings a smile to my face! 🙌 I did see on the news that America was going to start opening travel for fully vaxed people again! When exactly, from where... as always, news can be a bit light on some of the Important Details, but hopefully, see some content from "somewhere" in the States in the near future. ;-)
Orlando sucks lemons, YOU need to come to Toronto the good (the town that fun forgot until the Italians brought their wine and the Jamaicans brought their music). In Toronto, Ontario, Canada there is opportunity GALORE! Venues like "Yuk Yuk's", troupes like "Second City", broadcasters like CTV and CBC; an entertainer's goldmine. Follow in the footsteps of William Shatner, James Doohan, Leslie Nielsen, Jim Carrey, Eugene Levi, Martin Short and Mike Myers. Perform "Merry Wives of Windsor" at Stratford (Ontario) or Saint Joan (by George Bernard Shaw) at the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Justine do you know who Larry the Cable Guy is? He got his start doing weekly call ins to a morning radio show in New Hampshire(yes I can offer contact information if you want). Then other stations started picking him up, etc, etc. Now he's globally known. He did his calls in character of course. You don't really need to if you don't want to. You have enough personality to keep it interesting. Or just base the stage persona loosely upon your own. Lockdown isn't forever. But you need to build a following here to make a splash. That's something that you don't have to travel to do. Start a weekly podcast with chats and skits.
I absolutely love your energy! I've been enjoying your content here and over on try channel. As someone struggling with mental health issues as well, I know how hard it can be to have to wait for services. Practicing mindfulness as a coping skill really helped me, maybe it could help you🤷♀️ either way, thank you for making content, it really does make the world easier to navigate💙
I moved to Florida from New England to take care of my parents. We lost my dad in 2001 and my mom passed away on Feb. 29th of 2020, she just had to be different. So I went into Covid alone, trying to deal with being along for the first time in twenty years and dealing with the loss of my family. . . my one surviving sister hasn't spoken to me since I asker her to help with the cost of burying our mother. Nice, huh?
Thanks for a great video Justine 🙏 I'm glad you found some reasons to smile and learning, even about oneself, is always important ☺️ I hope you're able to get the care you need no matter where you go. Mental health is sorely overlooked by too many people but the effects are nonetheless real for those of us that experience them. 🍻 Cheers and thanks for all you make! Please be as well as you can be til next 🙏💙
Check out videos of Rodney Dangerfield. He did comedy in clubs, on T.V., and in movies. An amazing talent, the ‘King of the One Liners’…. Now that he’s gone, he gets a lot of respect.
Justine, you are an adorable, beautiful, very smart and creative soul. I have a crush on you! If you need to move to America to find the next chapter in your life and/or a dirty old man sugar daddy, get back to me. (PLEASE!!! 🥰)
I generally enjoy your comedy Those videos U put out R hilarious 😂 side note do U realize U whistle 🤣 😜 sometimes when U speak fast I counted 3 whistles very 😍 cute
Love ya, Gal -- Come to Texas next trip to the US. Then you'll know at least one person here to hang with. LOL -- Bring the TRY gang with ya, would love to meet and TRY the alcohols that are distilled here in Texas.
Don't b afraid to move to America. U have friends here.. ME!! 🥰 I watch your videos ALL THE TIME!! I'm Amy 😉 U could live down South here; in South Carolina, by me!! I'm only 3hrs from Myrtle Beach 🏖️ 😃 😊
Since nobody else is saying it, I guess it's up to me... Justine I missed you. :) As far as coming to America goes, you may want to tap the breaks on that plan for a little while. There are a lot of changes taking place in the TV, movie and writing world due to what people have learned amazingly from this pandemic. It turns out that to be a writer you don't actually have to live with all the idiots in California or New York. Imagine that! You could live anywhere you want.
If you move over here...will you still be available to rush off the Try shoot when Durian snacks show up? I can tell you that the Try shoot from yesterday (12/29/21 or 29/12/21 for you guys) was excellent for my mental health!
More people than you think know who you are. You’d be surprised. With that said, I think your shorts are very clever, well acted and could be done from anywhere in the world. This is out of left field, but have you thought of putting in for a job at the Thaiger News Network in Thailand? They could use a little humor in their lifestyle segments. Cost of living is around 900-1200 Euro per month, and there’s plenty of opportunities to network with popular vloggers as well as the mainstream English speaking expat-centric news services via radio and UA-cam. Even if it were just a year jaunt, it might be a nice working vacation.
I'm sure that you have considered these things, but just in case... Perhaps consider emigrating to Canada near the U.S. border somewhere. It might be easier to emigrate to Canada than the U.S. Also, they use metric and have healthcare services more similar to what you're used to. That may be a way for you to "transition" from Ireland without the potentially larger culture shock of coming directly to the U.S. Any Canadian border location could work, such as near Detroit, Michigan or the State of New York, but Vancouver may be a great idea since SO many movies and tv productions are based in Vancouver due to its proximity to the U.S. and reasonable closeness (by plane) to Hollywood. Another option I mentioned in a prior comment is the Southern U.S. While you may not like some of the "red state" policies based upon many of the things you have said/posted, the cost of living is typically lower than many other locations in the U.S. Slainte! ~Be Blessed
I fear for all people who need mental health services, post-pandemic. They were wholly inadequate before and the strain on the system in the future will be much worse. As you said, people with these issues cannot wait months or years for help...they just can't.
Sorry if the background audio is a bit loud btw. 🤦♀️
WHAT!!!!!
America loves you. Never give up on your hopes and dreams. Stay well and come to America.
Simply put Justine you've made this entire shit show a little more tolerable thanks 💚
It seems that you've learned more during lockdown than some folks learn in a lifetime. 😄🍻
I want to be the first person in line when you perform stand up in the US! You. Will. Kill it. Can’t wait for things to come!
let me pitch this one last time: a comedy show about irish girlfriends moving to america, and opening up a shop. bless.
there's a power to being no one, you can take everyone by surprise, they'll never see you coming
Three cheers for Justine being our weird uncle.

The unpredictability makes the videos you do all the more special
You are the greatest, never let anyone say different. Just waiting on your award for women in comedy. Much love from West by god Virginia, USA.
You know that you are truly happy when you are comfortable being alone, when you are content in your own company. Good for you!
She's back! It may have been a while but it was worth it for that smile!
Justscreen Stafford, I love it! Air Guitar socks, made me giggle too! And I needed that today.
Great to see you, stranger. I was working through emotional stages of your absence. Hadn't reached acceptance, yet.

Hello Justine from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Tourism has opened up here full swing.
Limo driver, getting lots of shifts.
Casinos are doing well.
I love your short skits.
I hope work is always coming your way.
Stay safe.
Being connected vs. living off grid happens within 15 seconds very often in my person
Freedom is amazing. I hope we all take ours back.
I have worked straight through the pandemic. What I have gained is an unhealthy attraction for my dog, and a severe hatred for my co-workers.
I’m from California , and I would LOVE to have you come here !
Thanks for being strong enough to address your mental health concerns publicly. Keep it real, Stafford.
There are no mental health issues amongst the Irish. Not while there is a supply of Bushmills* or Guinness :)
* Or Middleton if you’re feeling extravagant :)
Thanks for the smiles! Your vids always have a way of brightening my day! Keep being you!!
Canada has film opportunities in both BC and Alberta. A lad I work with, from Ireland literally just became a Canadian citizen last week.
Kudos for doing the DBT. I know a few actors and theater people, though probably without much actual influence. But maybe one day someone will say, "Do you know of any hilarious Irish women?" and you'll be on my radar. Keep doing videos and Try channel stuff, it's how we all find you. :)

I hope you _do_ get a show. I'd really love to see it!

Keep moving forward. You are great. Amazing. Be safe. Be awesome.
Interesting as ever. Your presentation and video-making skills set you apart. Good luck, and keep on keeping on Justine.
From Floria, always look forward to your updates! Hope to see you back here again soon!
youve done well being and looking healthy in ur lockdown stay happy ur smile is infectious
I always enjoy pints with friends and I really want to travel too
A great video! You’ve been missed Justine, but your short mini clips have helped fill the gap. I can’t help wondering whether some of the self realization that came from the pandemic would have come at this time in your life anyway! Hard to say.

"I need to sort my life out..."
I'm 62 and my old Mum would ask me, even today...
"When are you going to sort your life out?"
🤣🤘
I'm gonna rum I'm gonna RUM!!! Haaaaaa lmfao just saw that rum try video. CLASSIC!
Great to see you post again :). Live confidently and peacefully
Your self-awareness is outstanding considering your current (pandemic) situation. Know that your appreciated for your humor and insight into your own foibles and fears. You are a fantastic human being. Keep being you girl!
Keep up all the good work. I know things will be better after everything goes back to normal we all just have to be patient and wait
Thanks for being so transparent and honest....carry on...you are appreciated...
You are clearly wise beyond your years, Justine! Thanks for posting this; it's a good reminder that I too have learned many of the same things!

We never went into a lockdown where I live, but I was laid off from my job for 4 months
Norway is open and ready for visitors! Would love to have you over here!
Creativity is an outlet for me as well. A few of my friends and I have been creating improv comedy skits. Cheers and continue on-many understand and laugh along with you!
It's always good to hear from you Justine even if it's just a short video.
You’d love to move to American and we’d love for you to move here too. God knows our entertainment industry could use some people with talent.

I'm Amy 😉 U could live down South here; in South Carolina, by me!! I'm only 3hrs from Myrtle Beach 🏖️
😃 😊
Please come to The U.S. Justine. Become one of us. ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
OK, I got an idea! You and Tommy Tiernan tour California!😁😎💚
That is what we all need after this pandemic is over, a magical mystery tour.
I am talking a Beatle's Magical Mystery Tour.
Pitch a show that can be made. After you get one show made you can write yourself into the next one.
Come to Canada. All kinds of goodness here.
We'd love to have you move to America as well.
Yay!
