    As a lifelong Husker fan, I LOVE what I see here and also what I hear about this kid's character. His heart and his ability to move the ball with his ARM and his legs are evident. I say offere the kid now, Coach Pelini, before someone else gets him. Looks like a winner!

    I'm not sure he will contribute right away, but you have to love this guys effortless throwing motion and his toughness. Nebraska got a good one. Best of luck.

    Real happy to be able to get a quarterback who sounds like he's a good kid and looks pretty tough at the high school level. Welcome to Lincoln Johnny, best of luck to you. And GBR!

    Great stuff! I love his ability to scramble and keep his eyes downfield. Also seems like he makes good decisions -but then again this is highlight reel. Tough runner, deceptive speed. Come to Nebraska! GBR!

    Johnny Stanton has to be an important key for the Huskers! He can make all the throws! He knows when to pass & when to run! Strong arm an heady qb!

    Yes!!! Looking forward to watching him play at NU. Finally got a QB that can make all the throws and also has athleticism to buy time while keeping his eyes downfield for receivers. Just hope the coaches use him in a pro-style offense and take advantage of his arm and NOT in a spread/zone read/option style.

    Come to Nebraska. We have receivers, backs and o-line. Redshirt a year to learn the system and continue to develop your passing game. Kind of looks like Rodgers at this point in his development. Good luck to you wherever you go.

    Tommy Armstrong will have a headstart on him coming in. Hopefully either one of them will transfer out due to playing time. I don't see either of them being comfy as #2 or #3 for long. I'm lookng forward to seeing how both of them do and see how that positions battle goes. GBR!

    paul bliz I've heard UCLA. The new coach will probably turn them around and look pretty good to a CA kid. Beating Nebraska this fall would be a huge step in that direction. UCLA has no excuse for not being top 5 every year.

    If I blocked out his number and told you that was old film of Scott Frost you wouldn't know the difference. Same shot put throwing motion. Scott did pretty f'ing well as I recall. Word is he won't stand behind his commit to NU and will bolt to a PAC 12 school when they finally offer.

    true, but armstrong is a lot slower now... i don't know what happened, but he doesnt need to weigh 225 at qb, he just looked super slow out there

    Who cares where the qb came from. There's a reason tht Wilson was a good qb with nc state and a record setting qb with the badgers. The offense. The offense sets up the qb for tremendous success with a great running game and play action plays. Especially athletic qbs. At Wisconsin this kid cud be set up for a very successful career

  • @Alextjen88
    @Alextjen88 11 років тому

    I am hoping Nebraska can put together a national championship run in the coming years, however, its not going to happen unless Bo can manage to put two and two together. Nebraska is plagued by consistently lacking success on the opposite side of the ball nearly every season. If we are great on offense, our defense is just plain awful. If we are great on defense, our offense can't move the football. Its the same thing every year. If we can find a way to have success on both ends... look out.

    He got drafted in the third round as a receiver. He wasn't an NFL quarterback. Compare Tolzien, Sorgi and Bollinger to Frazier Scott Frost and Eric Crouch. There is no comparison.

    there is a huge excuse for not being top 5 actually. Nobody outside of nebraska wants to go here because they dont know the tradition and how awesome lincoln is..From a kid in texas or cali (where a ton of talent comes from) what sounds better Texas, USC...or Nebraska..just saying im a die hard husker fan but getting quality recruits is tough..GBR!!

    Who turned out to be one of the biggest busts in draft history. That's like saying Wisconsin is better at developing running backs because Ron dayne won the heisman. Doesn't make sense

  • @notredamejunkie
    @notredamejunkie 12 років тому

    He'd have the most success at Wisconsin. Nebraska Oregon state and Utah all suck. And he wudnt fit in oregons offense very well I think

  • @TheHuskerpower10
    @TheHuskerpower10 12 років тому

    I laugh at you. Wilson was there by a Transfer and so is that QB from Maryland. And we all know he is bad. And Wisconsin has showed me that they can't develop QBs so they have to get transfers to fill their spots.
