  • This is an "Oulegon" 78cc Chinese Chainsaw. This is the first cuts with it. As you can tell the carb isn't adjusted yet. Still not very impressive, 6.5 hp yeah right LOL! Enjoy and laugh away.

    i still have this saw. i had to rebuild the carb. the saw actually runs pretty good now. cut a couple truck loads of wood with it. some of the plastic has faded and cracked though

    Adjust the carb and then let us know how it cuts. Guaging a saw brand by an out of adjustment tool is silly.

    @1overthehillsfaraway usually from cost. but after seeing this. id rather purchase a jonsered, a husqvarna, or a good stihl should be NO need to adjust carb, for a new saw. altitude difference between beijing and vancouver or elsewhere shouldnt be that drastic.

    @spider1a80 agreed. at least this route you dont have the GERMAN wiring to deal with. cant beat their engines that is for sure. Eh?

    I have a Stihl 017 that though seldom used manages to do that very thing on much smaller twig limbs.It will act correct for a couple of days after I clean the carb thoroughly and go back to being really gutless.I guess that none of the smaller saws are very good?Fwiw this didn't cost you anymore then my Stihl sold for in 2000 iirc?

      +Gary Dougherty As an immitation of the old chainsaws of the mid 60s is good.But in the real work is it worth it?I can see in the video sometimes the engine slow down in the cut.

    • @GDTractor
      @GDTractor 8 років тому

      +NICK SAVAGE Mine doesn't look like that one at all .. it looks like a Husky or a Stihl [kinda] ... mine cuts great and has plenty of power .. I paid $95 for it brand new FROM China .. it is 55 cc !!! you have to mix a 20 to 1 ratio as opposed to 50 to 1 though .. still runs GREAT and is solid !! the namebrand on mine is "Chainsaw Chain Saw" no joke!!

      +Gary Dougherty Gary i want to say something to you.First of all thanks for the photo and advise.Apreciated.In the last 10 years in many countries in the world including the USA apeard chineese chainsaws most of them are imitations of famous chainsaws in the market.If you want my opinion with all the respect to you 60% of them are junk.With no guarranty and support on spare parts.Here in my country(GREECE)we have some big stores like wall mart,cabellas etc and they are selling many chineese chainsaws in the half price of original well known chainsaws like stihl,husqvarna,makita,poulan,homelite and lots of more.Trust me they dont worth the money because in 2 years of duty(maximum)they are for the trash.Just give some dollars more and take a serious chainsaw.Bellieve me its worth it.Many people here in greece have serious accidents from the use of that kind of chainsaws.7 years ago the greek bureau of industry and machinery banned many of chineese power tools to the greek market because of fails and security problems,including chainsaws of course.As an epilogue of my message i just want to inform you that i find the same chainsaw in the video in a greek store with the brand name GOOD LUCK CHAINSAWS!!!!Dont laugh its true.Have a nice day dude.

    WTF?! No safety bar for kickbacks and other, like if the saw pulls you inn!?!? That's like back to the past, with the first almost normal design!! Why did you waist your money on this shit?!? No you're having double costs. First a crappy one to loose some fingers, and then a Stihl or another semi pro you must buy!?!?
