This is an "Oulegon" 78cc Chinese Chainsaw. This is the first cuts with it. As you can tell the carb isn't adjusted yet. Still not very impressive, 6.5 hp yeah right LOL! Enjoy and laugh away.
i still have this saw. i had to rebuild the carb. the saw actually runs pretty good now. cut a couple truck loads of wood with it. some of the plastic has faded and cracked though
@1overthehillsfaraway usually from cost. but after seeing this. id rather purchase a jonsered, a husqvarna, or a good stihl should be NO need to adjust carb, for a new saw. altitude difference between beijing and vancouver or elsewhere shouldnt be that drastic.
+SkylineToTheSeaAndMe VERY TRUE !! I have one !! www.ebay.com/itm/22-52CC-EPA-Cutting-Chainsaw-Wood-Gas-Aluminum-Gasoline-2-4-HP-Engine-Brake-HD-/330988618607?
@canadiancarguy I just seen this vid and this comment and it makes me have to ask...WHY WOULD YOU HAVE PAID THAT FOR IT IF YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN A 660?
Typical chinesse junk. I take it you like chainsaws and bought this one to test. I for one am glad you took the time and spent the money so maybe someone else can avoid buying a junk saw like this.
I have a Stihl 017 that though seldom used manages to do that very thing on much smaller twig limbs. It will act correct for a couple of days after I clean the carb thoroughly and go back to being really gutless.I guess that none of the smaller saws are very good?Fwiw this didn't cost you anymore then my Stihl sold for in 2000 iirc?
+Gary Dougherty As an immitation of the old chainsaws of the mid 60s is good. But in the real work is it worth it?I can see in the video sometimes the engine slow down in the cut.
+NICK SAVAGE Mine doesn't look like that one at all .. it looks like a Husky or a Stihl [kinda] ... mine cuts great and has plenty of power .. I paid $95 for it brand new FROM China .. it is 55 cc !!! you have to mix a 20 to 1 ratio as opposed to 50 to 1 though .. still runs GREAT and is solid !! the namebrand on mine is "Chainsaw Chain Saw" no joke!!
+NICK SAVAGE Nick this is the one I bought .. www.ebay.com/itm/22-52CC-EPA-Cutting-Chainsaw-Wood-Gas-Aluminum-Gasoline-2-4-HP-Engine-Brake-HD-/330988618607? I bought another one for $95 from the same company .. this one was $101 ...
+Gary Dougherty Gary i want to say something to you.First of all thanks for the photo and advise.Apreciated.In the last 10 years in many countries in the world including the USA apeard chineese chainsaws most of them are imitations of famous chainsaws in the market. If you want my opinion with all the respect to you 60% of them are junk. With no guarranty and support on spare parts. Here in my country(GREECE)we have some big stores like wall mart, cabellas etc and they are selling many chineese chainsaws in the half price of original well known chainsaws like stihl, husqvarna, makita, poulan, homelite and lots of more.Trust me they dont worth the money because in 2 years of duty(maximum)they are for the trash.Just give some dollars more and take a serious chainsaw.Bellieve me its worth it.Many people here in greece have serious accidents from the use of that kind of chainsaws.7 years ago the greek bureau of industry and machinery banned many of chineese power tools to the greek market because of fails and security problems, including chainsaws of course. As an epilogue of my message i just want to inform you that i find the same chainsaw in the video in a greek store with the brand name GOOD LUCK CHAINSAWS!!!!Dont laugh its true.Have a nice day dude.
Why would you buy that??? lol, first its a chinese copy and they copied a 60s design, couldn't they have got there hands on something newer, at least from the early 80s
WTF?! No safety bar for kickbacks and other, like if the saw pulls you inn!?!? That's like back to the past, with the first almost normal design!! Why did you waist your money on this shit?!? No you're having double costs. First a crappy one to loose some fingers, and then a Stihl or another semi pro you must buy!?!?
i still have this saw. i had to rebuild the carb. the saw actually runs pretty good now. cut a couple truck loads of wood with it. some of the plastic has faded and cracked though
Wow,,,!! That's a solid power saw,,,!!!
I'm looking if ever available ito sa Pilipinas
this thing would make a great horror movie chainsaw, but not much else
Adjust the carb and then let us know how it cuts. Guaging a saw brand by an out of adjustment tool is silly.
No one reads, and everyone is a master mechanic.
WoW Frist Chinese Chainsaw i have seen. Looks like it weights alot and sound kinda chinese too
Throw it away.
@mvadinan540, it is junk, but if you know what you are doing you don need a chain brake.
LOL, I guess they don't have a need in china for a good saw... man that thing SUX! Liked your ported 7900, I'm pretty happy with mine!
@1overthehillsfaraway usually from cost. but after seeing this. id rather purchase a jonsered, a husqvarna, or a good stihl should be NO need to adjust carb, for a new saw. altitude difference between beijing and vancouver or elsewhere shouldnt be that drastic.
@spider1a80 agreed. at least this route you dont have the GERMAN wiring to deal with. cant beat their engines that is for sure. Eh?
Interesting saw.
look like the old Sthill 08, the "tea Pot"
En argentina se usa la shtill árboles muy fuerte como los del norte quebrado
the diaphragm was stiff the saw runs a lot better now after a couple ranks ran through
@canadiancarguy looks like a super wiz or somethin like that. Seems like America did that one best haha
how much tax would u pay on that model[customs]
nice leaf blower
Looks like a copy of a '60s Stihl. I wonder what saws Chinese Foresters actually use?
its 6,5 chinese horses. Like their watt of speakers.
Kézifűrésszel többre mész ! xD
There are so many better Chinese chainsaws than that one, for literally like $100 bucks.
+SkylineToTheSeaAndMe VERY TRUE !! I have one !!

the shape reminds me of those homelite wiz saws
@canadiancarguy I just seen this vid and this comment and it makes me have to ask...WHY WOULD YOU HAVE PAID THAT FOR IT IF YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN A 660?
Wenn du ne böse Frau hast, musst du dir die kaufen...."Tut mir leid mein Schatz, der Baum hat so lange gedauert..."....
Guy , thats a very good saw, please before you make a video make sure you set the carb and warm it up.
wow
Hi .. where can I buy one of these Chinese made saws online ?

thx
Gary
+Gary Dougherty Ebay
+Tim Gohon Thanks ... Got one on Ebay!!
you need to adjust the high speed jet on the carburetor. it will stop doing that.
how many spend for this 200 dollars?
Where´s the chainbrake?
Man you could really cut some big az wood with that!!! Haha lol
Typical chinesse junk. I take it you like chainsaws and bought this one to test. I for one am glad you took the time and spent the money so maybe someone else can avoid buying a junk saw like this.
no chain brake, soon no face.

i think for this chainsaw won`t metter if you adjust the carb caz it`s chinese
6.5 HP...Well, maybe the Chinese have smaller horses than North America?
Tune the carb then she shall run like a champ :)
You mean my 2000 model 017?
looks like a 50 year old homelite..
That pile of junk would struggle to cut Balsa wood .
Their cheap for a reason, proof is in the video.
Tego w ogóle nie powinno się sprzedawać bo np nie ma hamulca strach tym cokolwiek piłować jeżeli w ogóle można to nazwać piłowaniem.
@canadiancarguy waste of money ;) was this for testing purposes or something?
Where is the handbreak?
+NICK SAVAGE Mine has a handbreak .. just like US saws ...
+Gary Dougherty As an immitation of the old chainsaws of the mid 60s is good. But in the real work is it worth it?I can see in the video sometimes the engine slow down in the cut.
