That's true, and it's funny too because there's no mexican/latino race. I hate to break it but according to science, not politics he is just a white dude. No one in Europe calls Italians, Romanians, or Spanish people different races. The person making that conclusion here would be laughed at.

It's called virtue signaling. They're never satisfied, and all past efforts are rendered meaningless in light of the newest signal. Strong female characters for example. We are happy and we like him because he is a great character. There is no barrier or collective belief amongst players that good leads have to be of any specific race. Bros never played the greatest cod game of all time (undebatable) bo2
@@Wangrock_hardJohnson bo1 had a better campaign IMO
I’ll admit I didn’t finish that campaign, but I did play far enough to meet this guys character! He did a great job, his character stuck out the most to me in my short play through
Woahhh cod the first franchise to have a mexican guy. 🤯
Alain is such a sweetheart 🫶🏼
Alejandro, one of the best cod characters
Menendez wants to know your location
I wasn't expecting him to have such an English accent after hearing him speak in a full Mexican accent the entire game 😂
Race doesn’t matter just make a damn game
Facts smfh. This is one of the many reasons gaming is becoming ass these days.
100% COD has always been diverse. These pathetic ass progressive talking points are an embarrassment. It's ridiculous that he went along with it, too.
As a Latino….. FACTS
Seriously bro just because someone is bilingual there all of a sudden there breaking barriers 😂
Yes everyone always needs to be remined for the virtue signaling
Meanwhile, Menendez is punching the air rn😭
Unlike most of these people in the lime light I never noticed or cared about who was in a film or video game. More people should be like Morgan Freeman, stop talking about race. Just make good entertainment without pushing politics or race. That is all we want.
That's true, and it's funny too because there's no mexican/latino race. I hate to break it but according to science, not politics he is just a white dude. No one in Europe calls Italians, Romanians, or Spanish people different races. The person making that conclusion here would be laughed at.
So stunning and brave, what a hero! Make a statue of him immediately!
Lol why do white people always get mad when people of color want to enjoy a moment of representation?
Bro calm down there's no need for the attitude.
He is the most authentic Mexican video game actor. Not only is his voice on point but he's got culture when he speaks
At first I thought this was a delete cutscene😂😂😂
I’m Latino but I don’t give a shit about race as long as they put their heart into it I give them applause! But this dude did a AWESOME JOB!
Who cares if he is the first latino? Tf did they forget other games exist? He is a good actor and that's that.
We just gonna forget Salazar and Vasquez like that?
It’s so cool how they all look like their character
Race representation? Just because they have a Latino in their game they start going crazy acting like we didn’t have a black dude and in mw2019 we were literally in a foreign country (I can’t remember what exact one) with that one female character. The media is weird as hell. This ain’t hate to latin or anything it’s just weird how they’re barely bringing race representation as if cod was never doing that.
It's called virtue signaling. They're never satisfied, and all past efforts are rendered meaningless in light of the newest signal. Strong female characters for example. Apparently, Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Lara Croft, Samus, Ayame, Chun Li, and Princess Leia don't count. Or black superhero movies... Spawn and Blade don't count either. It's fucking stupid.
Ramirez in OG MW2 "I'm I a joke to you?"
Raul Menendez (one of the greatest villains in COD) "I'm I a joke to you?"
Valdez the Marines leader in OG MW "I'm Im i a joke to you?" 😂😂😂 yea man that's the American media for yah
One of those 100s of reasons why iam Not playing CoD anymore. These politics in games are unnecessary and only proofs me in what direction a Developer is moving. No hate to no nationality but this is Horseshaait. "Need more" if this guy thinks so, so f**k him, No sympathy for those people
@@willbaggiins9441 That's what I was thinking too. This is a weird way of thinking. I didn't give a shit that there's a guy with a mexican accent. I cared more about the idea of the Mexican Special Forces and the Cartels being part of a plot. That was interesting.
For real though, do people not remember Sgt. Vasquez? (I think that's who you were thinking of) Talk about being nothing color-centric that, that's all people see. Then there's Ramirez of course.
Treyarch had representation. Infinity Ward on the other hand (OG MW)……😅
Why is race such a big issue with media in gaming like just let us have fun playing our games
it's not that bro, USA is not the world lmao. That's not how terrorism works fam
Just the times we in now. It wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t doing it just to check a box. I don’t think that was the case here in mwll, but then again, probably 😂😂
If they made a decent game, with interesting, well written characters, then race representation wouldn't be a thing...
Because the world doesnt revolve around the USA. 😂
There are so many other fascinating countries with rich interesting cultures out there, that race representation actually matters.
nothing to do with COD being a decent game. Bro every war has a shit ton of countries involved, each one with it's own language and culture, what i'm trying to say is that you can make a shitty war game and still have it take place in various countries, languages, etc, due to the nature of these conflicts :)))
I don't fucking CARE about representation. Just make good characters without making race a big deal.
You’re probably a WASP, right? Lol
Best character in all of the rebooted MW series. Really hope to see him come back and play the part again, dude killed it on MWII
Yes I’m Latino and I fucking love this dude and I love his skins from MW2 and sometimes use them in WZM. Preach hombre.❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
He's not the first Spanish lead character on Cod but he defo was awesome and a positive representation for Latin race.
He's not "Spanish" he's cuban.. and latino it's not a race. 🙄
Do you think Latinos need a character to be Latino in order to relate to, or enjoy, the character? That idea in and of itself is racist.
Of European descent
Oh my god it’s just a voice actor all these liberals bro
“No no no, I don’t take orders from you”
"Didn't Valeria said that?"
"Now that makes me wonder what else I don't know about your affiliation with the drug-lord?"
@@witheredgamer-codmobile7151 “wtf did you just say to me pendejo” 🤣

I’m so used to Alejandro’s voice that this video came as a surprise to me 😂. Dude did a phenomenal job and I enjoyed him in MWII.
Alejandro is is a great character! I like this dude and hope I see him in more things
The Latino Chad.
He looks like Trevor from gta
He’s not even Mexican though he’s Puerto Rican. Still did an amazing job, also if you’re gonna make Hispanic characters this is a good way to do it, quit morphing established characters by race swapping them.
My guy Mexican and Puerto Rican are the same Hispanic
@@karl4893 nah fam they gave us Daddy Yankee. They’re island people nahmsayin’.
Cuban*
@@Wydech06 well they might not have given us Daddy Yankee but they’re still island people, and they gave us Fidel.
@@princessunicorn9267 read my comment I said it’s a good way to do it. Please learn to read a comment before you come in saying i’m bitching. My race swapping comment wasn’t towards him but the tons of characters like Namor that are now Hispanic.
Yet another reporter instilling liberal questions where it doesn't belong. The correct answer should've been "representation doesn't affect gameplay, so you have a less propagandized question for me to answer about the game?"
Alejandro Vargas Voice In COD : ☠️💀
Alejandro Vargas Voice In Real life : 🥰
The BEAST Alejandro..hes the one Lady Gaga talks about..and the spin off we need from COD..maybe partner with the greatest..GHOST..
A better answer would have been “I don’t care because it doesn’t matter.”
First thing came to my mind: Who gives a fuck
@@SirStrugglesAlotpeople like to be represented. It’s easy to say that it doesn’t matter from the perspective of a person who has historically always been represented, but it does matter
It’s evidenced by the fact that there is damn near always enormous outrage when a protagonist isn’t white/straight/male etc.
@@podomuss Okay liberal
@@arclightstudios8379 :)
@@podomuss I think the point most are getting across when they say "it doesn't matter" is not that it doesn't matter but that it shouldn't be the focus. We have seen a lot of characters in modern entertainment that are thrown in just for the sake of "diversity" that ruin a story because their writing is crap. People just want good stories, and if it can represent, then great.
We are happy and we like him because he is a great character. There is no barrier or collective belief amongst players that good leads have to be of any specific race. Alejandro is a spec ops badass in a game about being a spec ops badass. His story feels fleshed out and solid, and his character development makes you feel attached. When they write characters specifically to BE a brown hero just because they are brown people don't care, because it's bad writing. Now for a spin off where Alejandro and Tu Lam team up to take down North Korea... or whomever.
With the amount of racial slurs thrown around in the average CoD lobby, I don't think the players actually care. This is just something the twitter mob likes to talk about to feel like they are important.
This dude was one of my favorite characters in the modern Cod era. Thought he did a fantastic job in MW2!
This dude is was a full badass, I loved every second of him in mw2. I’d love to see him in some Hollywood movies.
This guy is SO COOL
LET'S GOOO 🎉💖
I'm latino and I don't gives a fuck about representation. Who ever plays a character better earn it through skills and not skin. What really matters is for a game to be good, we don't need this identity politics bullshit.
Okay, good for you? Some people still think it's nice even if you don't personally care about it.
@@BlakeH..888_ Alot of latinos have an issue with it due to Hollywood and suits thinking representation is a good thing. Its not and I know alot of people agree with me on this
@@BlakeH..888_Good chance he’s not even Latino or is an incredibly light skinned Latino
@@BlakeH..888_ and those type of people are idiots because representation is literally everywhere and has been for years.
@@ISeenmyDreams Once again, why do you bother complaining about it? If you don't care about representation then that is fine, just move on. Let people enjoy things. It doesn't matter.
Never thought I'd say this but I do want an Alejandro game that would be sick
Alejandro's voice actor is in the game, what does Ghost's voice actor look like? A full grown man wearing a skull mask in tactical clothing?
Why did they leave him out of mw3? He needs to be back.
he will return alot of mw games are in development they are expanding the universe with this new trilogy
He is right, but the characters have to be well written and have a purpose in the story or you’d have a vanguard or cod ww2 situation. I’m all for diversity, but don’t confuse it with tokenism.
Right
😂 bro please ‘race representation’ this ridiculous
He knocked it out of the park! Great actor!
Unreal the fact he sounds like that normally.... Actors can do amazing accents. Still blown away by arthur morgan.
He's straight up g for playing that character in call of duty representing raza 🇲🇽
