- If you ever scratched your watch (we all have) and thought how can I remove the scratches, this is the video for you.
You will need a variable speed dermal and polishing compound to get the job done.
Ahhh it looks like new!! Great walk-through.
You sound like Norm MacDonald the Canadian comedian sadly not with us.
Great video! Sorry, I just couldn't stop laughing the whole way through.
I never thought polishing a watch could be so funny but It's your voice!
Hilarious!
OH MY GOOD MY GOODNESS I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND MACHINE DRILL, WHAT OPTION CAN I USE ?
Better grab a polishing compound from a good brand. Will polish out deeper scratches faster and leave a more mirror finish.
And better buffing wheels lol
Maybe some "Flitz?"
@@davestelling Flitz is great, yea. But do they make coarse grits for deep scratches? Cuz they one i use is the final polish, which is a white paste in a tube.
That music lol
Congrats!
will any of the compounds scratch sapphire crystal? should I tape mine off first before doing the bezel? mine is a hamilton field khaki that has a shiny bezel around the sapphire glass and then a brush finish for the rest.
I'm thinking the same...mine is the Khaki King Automatic, partly brushed stainless, partly shiny/gloss(?)
Not sure how to proceed...
Can this be done with some of the 70's vintage Walthams and Siekos etc that have a gold tone to them? They are definitely not gold, so I just dont want to accidentally make a two tone watch lol
You definitely do run the risk of burning threw the finish. Cap Cod cloth would be the way to go
Threw?
if case is golden then...
I can’t hear what you’re saying
Maybe turn up the volume? It sounds fine on my end.
First 😎
The music is so loud I could not hear you. I had to stop watching.
The music is only the intro.
looks the same
