Ugh, the same tool does both? I put it on .5 speed and still cannot figure it out. Here, you squeeze inward to attach, AS WELL to remove? I don't see enough kinematics to figure that out - you either have two different pliers or you have to configure it for opposite function some how. Off to other video or to get greasy for another hour.
This kind of tool is next to useless. The handles are too thin to gain any real purchase or leverage. If you want to spend one hour unsuccessfully trying to remove a quick link, use this tool.
The tool shown to remove the link is different from the one shown to install it.
