Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying this! Lol the fast forwarding sound made me visualize the chipmunks doing death metal. Hahaha. I was giggling the whole time :)
I can't find that sort of Textile Medium in Sweden, can't I just try to dilute my acrylic paint with a bit of water? Since my acrylic paint is water soluble.
I don't know how that will take to the fabric. The textile medium sort of dye's the fabric a bit, makes it a bit more durable. Have you tried looking online? I found my textile medium on ebay because none of my local stores had it.
I really don't like shopping online. :/ I've now tried it with some Panduro Acrylic Heavy Body Studio Paint blended with water and it worked like a charm! I must be careful to let it dry flat tho, tried it with the blowdryer and now it's wavy xD But I can still cross stitch on it. I used a sponge brush. So My way was a budget/lack of products way that worked good for me. :) I did it with a copper colour and it kind of shimmers now. Can't wait to try the crimson colour!
Thanks for sharing this... I also so loved listening to The Chipmunks doing heavy/death metal. As for what you'll stitch on this piece... I'm envisioning your "Gothie's Cross Stitching" motif.
That was a great tutorial. I thought there was going to be a ton of steps. Thanks for sharing!
those colors remind me of my beloved Undercity in World of Warcraft. beautiful
