I downloaded your migration guide and love it, but can you recommend full tutorials for moving a website from WordPress to Kajabi? My site is currently hosted on WordPress via SiteGround. I've found plenty of videos discussing the pros and cons of moving, but I need detailed instructions on the actual migration process, especially regarding DNS settings and other technical steps. It's sad that not even Kajabi has much information on this. They have plenty of tutorials on how to build the pages but not much on the web hosting details. Thanks!
@brookerobertsco, did your students have any issues with losing the progress they made in your old course platform? Kajabi doesn't have a way to migrate that progress. How did you manage that aspect from the migration?
Good question! I moved over 500 students and no one brought this up. In fact, most people told me that it made them excited to jump back in (if they’d had the program for a while). I think the key is to prep your audience. Make an announcement a couple of weeks ahead prepping them. Then when you actually move send another announcement.
