I know KH has always said melodic solos are particularly hard for him to write compared to the fast flashy stuff. But I think some of his best work was these melodic solos. Not taking anything away from the fast flashy stuff but he has some beautiful melodic stuff
Agreed. Most of his best solos come from ballad like songs, Fade to Black, this, Unforgiven 1 and 2, Bleeding me. Also flashy stuff like One, RTL, Damage, AJFA,etc
That's weird cause all his best & most /well known solos are highly melodic and there's quite a few of them on Lightning, MOP, Justice & Black. He just bein humble.

I don't know if anyone has some suggestions for me. At 0:03 where he plays the open B and 3rd fret at the high E string, I feel that on my guitar the B string is too loud. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if its my guitar. Any help.
Maybe you don't do good the pull off. In that case the pull of is not just rising your finger, you have to push towards the ground instead. And if you wanna do a pull of in another string mute the other strings with your index finger (fretting hand). And well you almost always should do that but remember that if you wanna avoid resonance you should mute all the strings and use your palm too (picking hand)
Do it slowly, beat by beat... like this, your fingers will memorize the shape and after you will grew up the speed. As you might know, all my TABs are available in pdf via my PayPal page (link in video description) When you want to work a song more deeply, the real chart (not 2 bars by 2 bars on a video) is highly recommended to be in the good way to do it !
