Thanks! Everyone on UA-cam has been really encouraging and helpful. I don't think I would've finished as fast without all the support and kind words from the community.
Thanks! I've already started cerebrating a little because I finished all of the classes I wasn't interested in. With this last class, I can finally get back to acquiring new skills and learning new tech that I will help me in my career.
I have completed this class yesterday. I wouldn't consider myself a guru in computers by any means, but I'd like to share my two cents here. Here is how this class went for me: open the class take the pre assessment Almost passed, but wasn't quite there Decided to schedule the test the same day, about 2 hours out from my pre assessment Studied the questions that I missed, looked some things up, and got ready to take the test Passed the test with "Exemplary" status All in all, I would say that if you wait to take this class till you are almost done with your degree, it should be fairly straightforward as all of this information builds from ALL the previous classes. With that being said, it was a breath of fresh air as the other classes in my term were the CYSA+ and Pentest+.
So if I'm understanding correctly, it's possible to pass C838, and finish your degree, then schedule the actual certification exam after? Or do I have to use the voucher while I'm still enrolled?
That's right. i didn't take the CCSP exam until the month after I finished WGU so I can confirm that you don't have to take it while you're enrolled in school. since it's an optional voucher. You should probably accept the voucher though before you finish just to be safe. You'd still have a year to use the voucher once you have it.
Hi Cameron, I have a question do we have to pass the CCSP exam in order to graduate ? Since I am done with all comptia certs except cloud +. Please advise
Assuming your not transferring in any credits, you have 9 certification exams you need to pass in order to get the degree. They are listed here under the "IT certifications" section. www.wgu.edu/online-it-degrees/cybersecurity-information-assurance-bachelors-program.html
Thanks Cameron, I have 3 classes left to graduate and I am currently on this class so I appreciate the feedback and tips! I heard that this class had a lot of complaints related to their question wording. I hope I can pass!
Just wanted to thank you! I am following a very similar path that you are taking! Your videos have been very helpful! I wish you had a discord so a few us could get in network.
Hey I'm also interested in cybersecurity but I'm stuck between 2 schools. Which one do you recommend, university of Maryland Global Campus or west governor university?
Honestly, I don't know enough about Maryland Global Campus to tell you if it's a good school or not. I spent months looking into WGU before I enrolled. The best advice I can give is just to compare both of them carefully. Tuition, transferable credit, graduation rate, certifications offered, etc.
Ur voice is so calming!!! Starting wgu cybersecurity b.s. in March and ur videos have helped so much 😊
I'm starting WGU March 1st, I enjoy watching these videos about them beforehand.
I'm starting in March also. Good luck!
Same
That's great! I look forward to hearing about your journey once you start! Good luck!
Thank you for creating such helpful videos.
Awesome sauce, you’ve knocked this degree out the park!!!
Thanks!
Great work, you've been an inspiration all the way through

Lets freaking go! Almost time to celebrate! Well done Cam!

You are doing an amazing job! Holy cow!
I don't think I would've finished this fast if it wasn't for all support I've gotten from you guys. Thanks!

The wording of the OA isn't the most comprehensive. I'm studying for my 2nd attempt using the 150 page pdf this time.
Did you just use the Pluralsight videos to pass?

I am still struggling through this class. It’s frustrating.
I think it's one of the hardest classes in the whole degree program, but hang in there. It's going to feel amazing when you pass it. You got this!
Congrats bro you almost done! I finished jan 10th took me about 5 months and 10 days🙏🏾 feels good! keep going!
Thanks!
🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏 so proud of you!
Thanks!
Great progress!
Thanks!

It's not required. They'll give you a free voucher though to take the CCSP exam after you pass this class.
@@CameronEvolved Thank you

100% agree with you on this. This test was bogus. Whoever wrote it needs to go back to the drawing board.
